Ask E.J. Hradek. He must know about Hridik, I meant Hrivik....

Scored a bunch of goals for the Whale in the playoffs.
A big slovak who isn't slow but apparently has a weird looking stride.

Yeah he has an awkward stride but he's got some skills boy. I like this signing a lot.

I can see him having a Prucha like season. It's crazy how his talent translated so well to the AHL level especially in the playoffs.

Great signing. Kid played very well in the playoffs for the Whale. Big and skilled forward.

It would be great if we could get a "diamond in the rough" type of forward. The forward version of Dan Girardi. Extremely rare and unlikely I know.

AWESOME!!!! This kid adds a solid top6 potential prospect to the pool. I don't know if he'll make the team out of camp, but surely as this team needs offense, Hrivik can be there. The Kid can shoot and he's got size...skating can always be improved and he's not that terrible anyway.

He reminds me of Boyle

Adding Hrivik bumps the org ranking from 11 to 10!

In what way? Boyle is NA and played in NCAA, Hrivik is Czech and played in the Q. Boyle was a 1st rounder in a fantastic draft, Hrivik went undrafted. Boyle is a monstrous 6'7", Hrivik is an average (NHLer) at 6'1". Boyle's game was using his size with a net front presence, driving to the net, overworking players down low, etc. Where Hrivik as a wicked shot.

If it's skating development?....There are lots of players who have questionable skating (i.e. Stepan, Miller) and develop NHL skating later on. IMO, only Swedes seem to regularly have the uncanny ability to have incredible skating as prospects.
