Pretty sure this will turn into a typical HF pissfest, but for whatever the reasons, and whoever is to blame or not, looks like the book is closed on #30. Really a sad, sad day for me and I'm sure many other's here.... He came in by storm, and went out equally as turbulent, but he delivered what everyone else couldn't the past 40 years or whatever...the championship. He'll also be one of my all time favorites, regardless how this thing turns out...

this is what I will remember him for...nothing more, nothing less. Thanks to Timmy for being part of the greatest group of 20-23 men I ever saw don the spoked "B".

If I could put the handclap emoticon in here from my phone I would. Totally agree with how you feel here.

Thanks for the great memories Tim. I'll never forget the Summer of '11.

lets hope that Tuukka can live up to the very high standard that The tank has set.
Hope all is well with the Thomas's.

I'm a little disappointed that the Bruins and Thomas are taking attention away from the Stanley Cup Finals.

Same thing with Lidstrom...Why can't these things wait until after the season?

Please don't let this thread devolve into a debate. This should exist solely for remembering the man who helped win the Boston Bruins their first Cup in 39 years.

Going to miss you Tim

Well said Lou!

Wishing all the best for Timmy!

I will remember him for his perseverance, his smile and most of all for leading us to the first Cup in 39 years,

Two Vezinas, One Cup, and one of the greatest seasons by a goalie ever.

Yeah, he's ok in my book. No matter what happens, I'll always appreciate what Timmy did for the Bruins.

It was amazing live especially because it was during a TV time out.

He's on the cover of the 2011 Stanley Cup Champions DVD and will always be a winner in my books.

The best goalie that the Bruins have had since Terry Sawchuk.

I will always remember TT for what he brought to the Bruns - a Stanley Cup.

I wish him all the best in whatever path he takes.

I recently watched Game 3 of the SCF on DVD and actually when Thomas decked Sedin. Classic Thomas. And that idiot Edzo saying "that's a penalty." For what? A perfect check?

What a stud goalie. Forever a Bruin, no matter what.

Hes not even gone yet kind of premature, eh?

But I wish Timmy & his family well. Hopefully it all works out. Thank you for the cup and for all you've done, if you're gone.

Great videos posted! Nobody can tell me that Thomas going after little punks like Sedin and Avery did not fire up the team better than the average fight. When he pulled out a Jackie Chan move to make a save it had to serve as a big motivator as well in big games. Dude is a Bruin through and through.

Is this confirmed? I thought it was at the "might" stage right now. Seems totally unknown right now.

Thomas is by far the greatest goalie we've had in 40 years...perhaps longer.
Sucks to see it end this way, but it has.

Yes, nothing is confirmed. It's up to Thomas right now.

But there's nothing wrong with a tribute thread. It nicely balances out the haters.
