Annoying thing happened at work today,

A customer came in and told me that someone at customer service would do a return for him, even though it was out of policy, I said "sure no problem." and asked who it was.
The customer told me he didn't catch his name, but it was a man.
Since it wasn't me, that leaves only two men in customer service, so I say "Was he white, or black?"
And the customer said "Well there is better way to say that, he was AFRICAN AMERICAN."

Pissed me off.

I'm sure that this (likely Caucasian) customer knew all about being oppressed as a minority and knew how degrading the term "black" is. Oh wait, no. The term "black" is acceptable.

I hate people who act holier than thou, such as that predicament. And not every black person is African-American. So technically, the customer was being racially insensitive.

Oh ya he was white...

If I were black I would find the term "African American" more offensive than "black"...

And this employee that I'm referring to is neither African or American so....

Okay please tell me the AI has vastly improved in NHL 12. Im replaying NHL 11 (i don't own 12) and the AI is simply disastrous.

While playing BAP a forward and defense men played pass for literally 45 seconds before anyone did ANYTHING and when he was close he didn't even bother poke checking

It's still pretty bad.

The only thing they changed was adding 'anticipation AI' which is secretly code for the AI now has 0 reaction time on superstar. Pass the puck to the crease and the receiving player will get decked the instant you release the pass button.

Yeah. I'm definitely passing on NHL 13 this year. I really wish there was another competing game to check out.
