Never fails for ANY team to overrate their* prospects and for any other team to underrate them for them.

Taking a brief look at his name should say a lot.

Smith could easily step in and be a solid top 4 dman right now. I thought he was overrated till I finally got to see him play in the NHL. He was a stud in the 14 games he played, and he put up points like a natural. But what stood out most to me was his shifty skating and speed. His skating is unbelievably spectacular. His lateral movement reminds me of Skinner. 2nd thing that stood out to me is his toughness/mean-ness. The kid hits anything and everything in sight. He's a wrecking ball out there.... he's the type of player that will be hated by other teams' fans because he's gonna lay out a lot of their players.

Heh, if Holland doesn't do anything big in free agency he could very well be top 2.

Can't imagine Holland NOT spending some of that money. Are they even to the cap floor?

They have way to much money to spend to NOT get a top2 dman.

If the cap floor ends up being $54M we'll be $10M under it.

So even if we signed Abdelkader at $1.25M, Helm at $1.75M, and Quincey at $3.5M, we'd still be another $3.5M under.

No the lax player is Rory and he is one crazy mofo, probably beat the **** out of Brendan all the time and thats what made Brendan tough. Rory is arguably the toughest enforcer in the entire NLL lol.

Heres Rory playing Jr A hockey

and an NLL one

Its not secret the family has a mean streak in them. Brendan has the potential to be one the toughest dmen in the league
