Central:
Columbus
St. Louis
Detroit
Nashville
Chicago

all have tough players, guys that can throw out hits and punches and fight.

Northwest:
Vancouver
Edmonton
Calgary
Colorado

The same. Colorado might be a bit soft...

Pacific:
San Jose
Anaheim
Los Angeles
Phoenix
Dallas

So, outside of Colorado and Dallas, who is softer than Minnesota? I don't see it.

We're one of the softest teams in the West.

No one is afraid to go Toe to Toe with Minnesota.

Look at how many players sit in the crease or in Backstrom/Harding/Hackett's porch.

How many times have our players been ran over and we do nothing?

So then how do we go about fixing that? I dont want us to start playing like a bunch of goons like the Nucks or Mutts, but we need to be able to stand up for ourselves and our goaltenders.

There's a difference between tough players and hard hitting players.

Powe, Lats, Brodz, Seto. Stoner and Falk if they feel like it. Pretty much all our AHL callups tried to hit people. Heatley actually had a few decent hits too--one of the things that surprised me about him.

it seemed to me we were never severely out-hit in any individual game even when Clutter was out.

When Koivu gets ticked, he hits. We need to find a way to make him angry each game. Or put angry bees in his breezers.

he just plays much better overall when he's angry. gotta make sure it's at the other team though.

I am not that daft. I know Koivu isn't a big hitter.
I laughed about their reaction as that type of hit is in some circles coined "The Kronwall"

True. Unlike Clutterbuck who smashes his stick and ends up putting his team on the PK. But how do we get #9 p**sed off at the other team? Fake player twitter accounts that call him out before each game? Oh! He hates Russo. Put the guy out there in the opponent's jersey holding a sign insulting his mother.

Pre-Game hypnosis. Convince his subconscious that every opponent on the ice is Matthias Ohlund.

In the YouTube tags, just put the letters after the last slash.

So you had the url "http://youtu.be/SgpdrSOBKlA"

Just put "SgpdrSOBKlA" in the tags:

Thanks for the info guys. I discovered a new way to get Mikko to play angry. Embed a video at 12:30am Saturday. Worked for me.
