Hope we get another chance to use the lightsticks even, right now it's looking like Game 5 tickets will be going for a confederate two-dollar bill by Thursday morning

But yeah, I already knew our 'attempt' at the light-out was lame, it looked even more so now that I saw what it looked like for real.

If the Devils do lose this game and go down 3 zip, and I had game 5 tickets I paid $300+ for a piece, I would partially hope they lose game 4.

As terrible as it sounds I wouldn't blame people for that attitude

At least I got see something in game 1

Hope we pull out a win or two, we're better than this.

Also, agree with how cool the whole arena looked with glowsticks. Our 1st SCF in 10 years and we screw everything up from pricing presales to viewing parties to not enough towels to not enough glowsticks... Come on, no wonder people crack jokes on our franchise.

I was impressed by what I saw on TV from the Kings crowd, ours didn't look that cool.

Hell, IF there's a G5, I still might go. Maybe I just enjoy pain, but I'll bet there'll be plenty of $100 (or LESS!) tickets to be had.

I beg to differ, so what if the glow sticks were handed out to the whole crowd? I don't think any team could top how cool our intro was this playoff....our pregame stuff was not done half assed.

I haven't been following it closely, but I think it's more likely that there is simply no buying at all for that game (have the # of tickets available changed?) and sellers haven't (yet) adjusted their prices. Maybe the sellers are hoping that Devils fans will want to come out to support the team for (possibly) one last time (and thank the team for the ride if it doesn't work out)? Maybe see Zach and Marty one last time in a Devils uniform

I could see some "neutral" (or anti-Devils) fans jumping in to possibly see the Cup awarded if prices drop enough. If the Kinds were up 3-1 on the Rangers, I might take a trip across the river for a ticket that wasn't outrageous.

And IF there's a G5, that may turn out to be an interesting game. I mean, if NJ wins that one, the kings would have lost 2 in a row for the first time this postseason. Then who knows?

I'll watch prices last minute and see what happens. For $100 or less, I'll go. Hell, I might buy a G7 ticket too. What's the downside at this point? Either I get refunded or I have a hot ticket to the biggest comeback in 50 years.

The Devils really made out well for Games 1, 2 & 5 in terms of their dynamic pricing.

Ehh dont think they will go sub $100 since the Cup can be awarded.

LA Fans can fly in and go to Game 5 cheaper than 1 ticket for Game 4 with several hundred to save in their pockets. Prices are $1400 to get in the building tomorrow per ticket. Talk about a wagon.

It'll be interesting to see what the prices do. How many Devils fans would want to see the Cup awarded to the other team? I guess we shall see....

As usual, I'll track SH for a last minute single.

True I'm a huge fan of our intro & the flag going around the crowd & the on ice projected graphics! The LA glowsticks just looked really cool though. I kinda was cranky cuz we lost last night, but we did fumble a few things.

Fan fest could have been bigger, should have used mulberry & even edison streets, the plaza is cool just kinda small for such a huge event. I woul have added a rink for the kids and the inflatable fun house thing, some carnival games + food carts, and to top it off, a huge outdoor projector for people who couldn't actually get inside the game.

You can't use anymore of the streets. They're closed off and used for parking.

The team also wasn't allowed to do the projector as per NBC rules. It was completely fine just the way it was.

It wasn't bad at all, I had a blast, I'm just saying I would have made it a bigger deal, try to get more people involved & make it more like a carnival.

Maybe it's because I was pretty young, but I remember the tailgating atmosphere at CAA during previous finals being a bigger deal than the fan fest.
