2013-2014 Starting Lineup

With an added public emphasis on overseas games and AHL games, and with added information about more of our prospects due to this, what do you guys think our starting line up will be next year?

I'm gonna go with:

Nash-Richards-Callahan
Kreider-Stepan-Gaborik
Hagelin-Lindberg-Fast
Rupp-Boyle-Asham

Staal-Girardi
McDonough-Sauer
MDZ-Mcilrath

Dunno what to do with Miller. Reports indicate that at the very latest he should be ready by camp next year to win a spot, but reports also indicate that Lindberg is going to be a very solid 3rd line center at the NHL level and that Fast is also turning heads left and right, yet again.

Reason i'm making this thread is because on this current Rangers squad I think our bottom 2 lines are very weak, and i'm really excited to see this roster with those bottom 2 lines constructed the way that I have them.

In a perfect world:

Nash-Richards-Callahan
Kreider-Stepan-Gaborik
Hagelin-Jean-Fast
Boyle-Lindberg-Miller

XTA=Asham, Rupp

D:
MCD-Girardi
Staal-Strahlman
Del Z-Vet

XTA: Bickel

Henrik
Biron

I think McLIrath makes it but later in the year. Don't forget Kyle Jean either. He's playing real well.

The real wildcard is whether or not the Cap goes down or Redden has to count against it. If the answer is yes to either/or, Gaborik might be traded as crazy as that seems.

In a perfect world, Sauer is back and on the second pair.

Definitely has a Swede's touch Might have been tempting to find a spot for Lindberg

I would expect Yogan to be in the mix too.

Also, Newbury will be in NHL, but I don't think theres a spot for him on this team.

Hagelin Richards Gaborik
Kreider Stepan Nash
Miller Jean Callahan
Pyatt Boyle/Haley Rupp/Asham

Girardi Staal
McDonagh Del Zotto
Eminger/Stralman McIlrath/Sauer

i dont understand why some posters are putting Miller on the 4th line. it would be Manny Malhotra all over again...

i love how posters are putting Lindberg and Fast on the NHL roster. i think both Fast and Lindberg like Hagelin will start in the AHL before they will make their NHL debuts

Hagelin was really quite raw. He still is. Lindberg is quite refined from everything i'm reading. Fast seems much more refined than Hagelin at this stage of his career and he's like 2 1/2 years younger.

But can see them having to follow the same path. Torts like to go with more experience. Either way, at some point or another, I expect that to be the lineup.

Honestly guys, I think you sell yourselves short on the "perfect world" concept

Dunno about you guys but I have Jason's Magical Feeling™ about the dynamic change that Pyatt brings to the bottom lines. I'm unrealistically optimistic and hopeful about Pyatt. Don't ask me why

they're selling themselves short of a perfect world, but you kept callahan on the 1st line-- not to mention boyle on the roster

personally:
1.kreider/richards/gaborik
2.nash/stepan/callahan
3.hagelin/miller/fast
4.rupp's replacement(hehe)/jean/pyatt

a.girardi/mcdonagh
b.sauer/staal
c.mcilrath/del zotto

Substitute Boyle with Jean and Arnold with Chuck Norris and I believe you are onto something...

I'd be really surprised if this team can keep Gaborik next summer.

Yeah... it sucks thinking about having to cut ties with him.
