Now if we can get Wej20 to change his name to Wej Antilles I will give him a homemade(shoddy) photoshop avatar of Wedge piloting an Xwing or Snowspeeder with his face replaced by a Penguin of his choice.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Wedge Antilles was in episode 4 making the run on the first Death Star and in Episode 6 destroying the second Death Star along with Lando Calrissian. He later went on to found Rogue Squadron. I think Chancelor Valorum Vitale posted a picture of him because of your name, Wej.

Once upon a time this was kinda partially On Topic, sort of. It is definatly the offseason.

I've seen the actor who played him in a lot of things.

Being from the UK that makes sense. Hes a scottish actor. Maybe you really ARE Wedge Antilles!!

Also apparently he(Denis Lawson) is Ewan McGregor(Obi Wan Kenobi)'s uncle. Thats pretty cool.

The second trilogy is dead to me... mostly because the script and characters suck the sweat off a dead rhino's nuts. Other than that, fantastic movies if you enjoy jerking it to gratuitous special effects and chaotic laser fights more reminiscent of a cartoon than a movie.

Is it July 1 yet?

This is getting pretty off topic, but have you seen the Red Letter Media reviews of those movies? If you want to watch somebody hysterically rip those movies to shreds, then you should.

Thread starts about a prospect signing, ends up in a Starwars discussion.

Yup, they are ****ing hilarious. If not a little wierd, I even watched the star trek reviews. Plinkett (his character) is quite wierd.

I went to check those out. I've seen those before but didn't know that's what they were called. That guy is pretty funny / twisted. Gotta love the interludes where he shows abduction victims and corpses in his basement.

Anyway back to the Dominator:

My first observation is that all the first page YouTube videos are fights... and none what you would call highly entertaining. But at least he's willing.

I typed Red Letter Media into Youtube and ended up watching some reviews. They werent titled that way but it was all one guy with a weird deep monotonous voice. Was that it? lol

Pretty much agree with all that was said. Ive always liked Star Wars, but episodes 1,2, and 3 never meant anything to me. Watched them all once, and never felt the need to watch them again. As opposed to watching 4,5 and 6 over and over as a kid.

Also that Uher kid is cool, I bet he likes Star Wars........

i haven't watched Star Wars since Lucas made all those changes. replacing Sebastian Shaw with Hayden Christensen was unforgivable.

i will note that my love of two other films has lessened my interest in Star Wars:
1. i'd rather watch Hidden Fortress
2. nutjobs who are still outraged that Annie Hall beat out A New Hope at the Oscars - the Oscars blow but they got that one right.

back on point (no, not Dominik Uher but rather the prequels) - have you guys heard that Topher Grace re-cut the movies into his own fan-edit. word is that it's a significant improvement over the the films.

last but not least: Georg Lukács > George Lucas
