Haggs continued his smear campaign by comparing him to Schilling today.

So, basically what do you want from Avs? We don't have 1st this year.
Read up and think I found the perfect scneario for both teams:

To Colorado:

G Tim Thomas
F Maxime Sauve

To Boston:

D Tyson Barrie
or
D Duncan Siemens

Boston needs defensive prospect depth and I love both of these players games. Colorado also gets a forward (center) ready to play this season.

If it turns out TT has to donate a kidney to one of his ailing parents to keep them above ground. Some people are going to look like walking stool samples.

Oh yeah, raise your hand if you ever left 3 million dollars on the table.

Timmy owes the Bruins? They've paid a lot of hockey players over the last 39 years. As great as some of them were, none of them decorated the Garden w/ a new banner. Want to pretend that ever happened w/o Tim Thomas? What ever helps you sleep at night.

As far as his cap hit. Don't they have the option of just buying him out and paying him?

I never read his stuff anymore, complete agenda driven, same with dupont. It isn't journalism when the whole article is all of your one sided opinons.

That would be an absolute steal for the Bruins, no way the Avs do that though.

You truly underrate the ability for an owner to pretend to spend 5 million dollars. This is about turning a negative into a positive for everyone.

It's all good. Grabs can have fun rotting on the Island for the next whatever years he's playing there.

Need to confirm it, but as I understand it, if the B's suspend him and take the hit to the cap, then the contract expires at the end of the league year. I don't think they would hold any right to him at all. I tried finding some guidance in the CBA, but I couldn't find anything relevant.

He's so funny.

Almost as funny as being stuck on the Isle for a 5 year contract.

Well, keep in mind that our organization is cheap. They will keep their young players ( especially defensemen because they're expensive as UFA). So, it most likely for picks.

One player took 10's of millions of tax payer dollars and flushed em down the toilet, the other is considering leaving millions on the table to spend time with his family.

The only thing those two have in common right now is that their names will generate hits, though I'm sure Haggs is above that sort of thing.

Is it that their cheap Mules or that they haven`t been able to generate much in the way of revenue??? I am asking not being overly familiar with the Avs scene, I thought I heard that the barn wasn`t close to being at capacity for the majority of games etc....???

This also doesn't bring into consideration the huge factor everyone is missing: a motivated Tim Thomas.

Colorado was the first team to cut him and take Billington over him as Roy's backup.

He has spent his whole life trying to prove everyone wrong and now it has come back full circle.

I am one of the few who think a Thomas that would return in January to Colorado would get them into the first round to face....the Vancouver Canucks.

Some stories you can't make up.

So who's going to be the one to tweet some sarcastic Islander comments to him?

Classic, nice call Coach, tell me that there wouldn`t be a fan here rooting for anyone other than Timmy and the Avs if that were to happen

Just an overall weird situation. Tim has earned the right to do what he wants, it being an over 35 contract makes it tough for the Bruins. A trade to Colorado could work.

Here to deliver!

Didn't you also ask for a trade offer that would piss off some Avs fans while others would see the value and how their management and ownership are currently running things?

Can I consider myself 2/2 today with you?
