Connecting the move to Colorado with his posting articles to FB of worst-case-scenario economic calamity with his desire to spend more time with his family, I can conclude only one thing: Thomas is going into survivalist mode.
Reading that post and then looking at your avatar is really funny.
Over what is essentially a facebook ad? Please. Let's wait and see what happens on/around July 1, for all sides of the argument.
It's an evolving and confusing story. I know I've had a range of opinions and thoughts about this story since it broke, and have used this space and input from others here to work it out in my head. I have no problem eating crow when necessary, but I still think there's way more to the story than what is included here. And to take this post completely at face value is, IMO, slightly naive.
Glad to see the number one priority for so many in this "community"is being hell bent on being right and proving others wrong.
Yep TT is clearly lying that he wants to spend time with the family an reconnect with whatever religion he belongs to. He has so much to gain by doing so.
He signed the contract and should honor it. Unless there actually is some big personal or family issue going on with him (as opposed to him going on some sabbatical), I have lost all respect for him and will be glad to see him gone.
You lose all respect for him because he chooses to be with family instead of playing hockey? You have interesting priorities, friend.
It's fine not to like him or even lose *some* respect but let us not forget what he meant to this team in 2011 especially.. or his entire ride to the NHL. You know, when people would see those youtube videos and they'd comment "wow, his life should be a movie"
But no, he's losing *all* respect from people over this?
Seems silly to me.
