This is all about TT realizing that the Bruins planned to deal him right after his NTC kicks in. Its been in the works for a year. They arent going to extend, so why sit Rask another year? Why sign AK to a one way deal for this year? This is TT's way to pick his landing spot. Nothing more. I dont blame either side, but TT just called checkmate on PC if the plan is to move him. Either way he wont be back in Boston next year. That ship has sailed unfortunately.

Not surprised so much as I'm disappointed. I gave Haggs the benefit of the doubt for the most part during this whole thing, as I believed that he was doing his job, whether or not I agreed with how he went about it.
But this is crap. It's unnecessary and unprofessional. I'm willing to bet he is not privy to any inside information or the "real story" here (if there is one), so for all he knows he's making a crack about a guy who is dealing with a seriously ill family member.

I take my hat off to you for you must be the single most blessed person in the world. To never have cancer affect your life is an incredible rarity in this day and age.
To not see loved ones ravaged by the disease. Parts surgically removed. Chemicals pumped in so caustic that you wonder what's worse, the treatment or the disease?
To know that every day is precious. More precious than anything else on earth and you race to fulfill that you know you don't have time to fulfill.

I don't follow Haggs on twitter, but didn't he just keep harping on Thomas for weeks/months after the WH thing? This seems to be in character to me.
I have no clue whats goin on. Perhaps his wife has cancer. Perhaps a kid is an addict. Honestly it's none of our ****ing business.

His political views don't matter his play was great in my book this year. That's not to say I was against trading him. But now his value is 0. He deserves the right if he wants
