Apply for a job with the team, they don't have anyone updating their prospect list.

Finally got my tickets to game 4. It seemed so ridiculous that they were making everyone come pick them up, so I decided to call ticketmaster & they let me print it out. Now why couldn't they just let me do that in the first place....

Still excoted that ziggy's coming back, hopefully he can provide a spark. On the plus side, kadri will heal more by sittin out now, and then will come back and be explosive in game 7

Kadri not suited up is disappointing but hopefully if he can't be a surprise in the lineup for Game 3, hopefully he can at least make a return for Game 4. It's still nice to hear that we'll at least get Ziggy back.

Make it 2-1 and it's a whole different series. We'll have another 2 home games after that.

Need to win at least 2/3 to have any hope.

That's what I am hoping for Pi. One game at a time and we can come back probably.

Well getting back with Zigo should help quite a bit actually.

No doubt. Having the home crowd at our backs will help as well.

It'd be great if our captain could step up his game as well. I was expecting more than 5pts in 15 games out of Hamilton.

I also usually hate +/-, but Hamilton is a significant outlier at -7. The next closest is -3 (Zigo). Team leader is D'Amigo at +12. Pick up your game, Ryan.

Last series he was okay, this series he has been invisible but it is very likely due to the fact that we are just simply outmatched.

I know we really missed out on critical offensive faceoff help when dupuis was taking it.

I am also very curious as to who might get benched with ross possibly playing. If it was my preference ofc it would be hands down rosie, but don't know if Eakins views it the same way.

I don't think Ross is playing. They're not going to insert him into the line-up without first skating with the team in practice (which hasn't happened, if I recall correctly). He only said he was training in Toronto, and made no mention of meeting up with the Marlies.

I would honestly rather ANYONE other than Rosehill. Useless.

So damn true. Guy just pisses me off now.

Good point regarding ross, I guess I jumped the gun a bit as I am excited to see him play in the AHL.

I am still curious if Kadri can make the jump into playing on thursday possible, he's listed day to day and skated today. Who knows?

Ashton was also missing that spark in the last game so I am curious if he will be more prepared this time around, after his concussion.

Is there any chance Kadri will be back in the lineup?

Also, Colborne looked good last game, I expect him to have a good game tonight

Game 3 is on Thursday, Kadri will have time to rest and still could be ready by then.

I know it's the seniority rule and everything but, why the **** doesn't Rosehill just be a good teammate and use another stick so Gardiner can get back his?

Does he honestly think he's going to make a difference out there on the scoreboard more than Gardiner would be?

This is do or die time for the Marlies, and we're already short 3 of our best point producers already against a powerhouse team. We need every little bit of offense we can muster these 2 straight home games. (hopefully 3 straight home games)

I'm just surprised by all of this. Honestly, WTF can Jay Rosehill do for this team in a offensive role? So why the **** would he care what stick he's playing with??

Well you have to remember there's probably another 15 Marlies who want to use a different stick but can't. It would show favouritism if Gardiner was automatically given first choice out of that group. I do however think it would be a selfless act for Rosehill to waive his right to his personal stick choice and pass the privilege down the line to the next candidate.

From Paul Hendricks (@HennyTweets): Zigomanis says he's good to go thursday....skated with ryan hamilton and spencer abbot today.#marlieslive

Also, Kadri and Blacker skated today, but on their own. We likely won't see them return to game action until they can get through a full practice. Good thing is that Game 4 is five days away.

My personal opinion is that Rosehill probably wanted to but Eakins or Burke might have interfered with it. Gardiner needs to be thought that he still has a lot to go through, and him hot dogging some of the games in the playoffs, I agree with letting Rosehill keep the stick.

The AHL signed a deal with Reebok/CCM that prevents no more than 3 players per team to be able to use another stick.

Gardiner stick of choice is Bauer, but seeing that Zigomanis, Dupuis, and Rosehill are the veterans of the team, they have their choice of which stick to use before anybody else.

Stupid rule imo.
