2 things that stand out for me:

1. They need to initiate and get under their skin. Make it tough on Tokarski and give him a little of what Scrivens is facing. Draw the retaliation penalty. Norfolk can't survive on the PK indefinitely.

2. They need to do a better job of keeping the play to the outside, protecting Benny better and making them pay the price for getting near the paint. Far too much traffic in front of the net to win...

A player with character like Crabb would have been very useful for the marlies right now. He hits a lot, skates, is agressive and is a scoring machine in the AHL. hes kind of another frattin. unfortunately, hes spent the season as a useless 4th line player with the leafs.

Keeping Crabb in the AHL all season would have been unfair.

Because that's how farm teams are operated. 'Joey you are good enough to play in the NHL and help our forecheck and PK, but you are a great AHLer so we are going to keep you on the farm'.

Crabb was a very pleasant surprise once RC took over the leafs. I feel he will be an important Grinder/Energy Guy under his tutelage. He seemed to respond very well to that role, unlike wilson playing him with kessel

I think Crabb would now have to go through waivers to be sent down, and if Boyce was picked up, you can bet crabb would.

Hoping for the best but they looked horribly out-gunned in what I saw of the last game. Tough missing so many skill guys, they're still working plenty hard but hard work alone might not be enough here. Hopefully Zigo makes an impact.

Just an FYI for any Leafs/Marlies fans in the U.S.

CBS Sports Network will be covering games 3-7 of the Calder Cup Finals in HD.

If someone wants a single ticket for tonight, message me in the next half an hour. Would rather give it to someone on here for dirt cheap rather than look for someone outside the arena. Good seat and $15 should suffice - bought two pairs and only 3 of us are going.
