Reference one source where anybody has intimated the Leafs will move down if Forsberg isn't available? All I've read from the combine is that Gally is impressing the hell out of people, interviewing well, a gym rat, knee concerns diminishing, stock is rising if anything, and yet we have you with your magic eight ball in some basement who has unlocked what is really going on! Please.
You are being a bit hard on this guy. He did use the phrase " My guess" . At least he didn't come out and treat his opinion like it was an undisputable fact like so many here do.

Accepted, by the way do you have any hockey opinions other than defending Ron Wilson, do you talk to any scouts?

BTW were you one of the 5 Wilson apologists that said to me earlier this year what has Deboer won?

Not sure but I know it was one of you select 5.

True but a team may say "we have a glut of potential top 6 forwards, maybe we should pick a potential top 4 defenseman."

No, and I seriously don't think you do either.

They aren't targeting Murray, but they may feel if he's there at 5 he's BPA if they don't see a FW in that range they have rated higher.

Seriously, it's a hockey forum, and a Leafs will take the BPA thread, I stated my opinion. Think about what you are posting here.

I'd like to see Leafs draft
Galy
Murray
Reinhart
in that order if previous is taken.
Plus would love to see them make a trade for both Wash 1st rounds.
With a trade (which I am not very good at proposing yet. )

BPA vs Need
I feel like we did that when we drafted Kadri rather than Cowen.

Why? We picked Kadri where he was ranked.

We need a top 6 forward and a goalie and I see us drafting a Dman and signing a Dman. Kinda sux but hopefully there's more in store for our team than I think.

Cowen was just a bit more NHL ready then Kadri. If we didn't make Kadri, Ottawa would've.

my friend, read the article. if the leafs are going to be taking the best player available, than if Murray is there at 5 he is 100% the BPA.

Cowen was coming off a serious Knee injury. A healthy sniper in Kadri VS a serious knee injury...no surprise the Leafs took Naz.

Must be even rougher at 6.
Nothing but you weren't the only one. 3/4 of the board wanted Filatov and most didn't know why other than he was ranked higher.

If Grigorenko/Galchenyuk fall past our pick this board will be hilarious to read

Seems to me Columbus and the Islanders could do anything.

Interesting idea put up by Hockey Central was that if the Habs bring Roy in they would favour Grigs.
I appreciate this, means you are a stand up guy, I wanted Schenn, what do I know, Karlsson, Del Zotto, Myers....

Main reason for me was team need for dynamic forwards.

Ottawa tried to draft Kadri instead of Cowen, they don't even agree with you.
