Interesting. Is that legal? I'm glad he was there checking up on him but technically Billington works for the Avs, and Joey is under contract.
I don't think the no contact rules apply when it comes to players who are injured. I know Kesler works closely with Canucks in his rehabilitation. I think the players even get paid until they are off IR.
Wasn't Hishon skating before as well and then he had symptoms again which made him stop skating or am I wrong?
Yea that was the report. I'm only going to start being optimistic when he actually plays his first pro game, and then really only hopeful that it hasn't ruined his career when he puts together a couple of reasonably healthy NHL seasons.
Just too many "feeling good" or "haven't felt this good in a long time" or "symptom free" comments regarding Hishon, or Mueller, or Forsberg with his own injuries to see this as anything to be optimistic about.
Personally, even though Hishon has been cleared, I'd like LE to really ease him back into the practices. Maybe even have him in a "No Contact" jersey for the first couple, just to make sure nothing re-appears.
Then ease him into just some more intense drills and such, before going to a full-fledged practice.
