I'd like to see the Kings get Marty pulled.

I could get on board with seeing Marty pulled.

I don't think he will. Even if the Kings make it 8-0.

Really, 3 PP goals in a 5 minute PP - when's the last time you saw that?

I was removed from the Devils game thread for calling them out for claiming scuderi turned.

Edit: btw, i was very civil about it... but I guess trying to debate a fanbase that just watched their budding comeback in this series go down in flames was a bad choice.

I see the Kings' plan of ignoring all distractions and circus of the media is paying dividends tonight.

I think I did that in one of my NHL '99 games, but in real life? I don't think I have ever seen a major PP yield 3 goals.

And another powerplay coming up for the Kings.

Devils just look lost out there.

Ooooh and it's a 4 minute double minor!

*wrings hands menacingly*

You didn't see how that could possibly go wrong? You could be the most polite person in the world, but you don't go do that in THEIR OWN GDT.

Go to the one on the main board if you wanna debate it.

I can't understand how some in the playoff forum are saying all 4 goals were due to the refs. Let me guess, they're gonna cry about this 4 minute PK too...even though it was an obvious double minor!

I really didn't think about it... I rarely venture out of the Wild board, usually it's just looking for wild related threads in the trade forum...

I didn't even consider main board.

In retrospect it was a bad choice...

Maple leafs scored 4 goals vs Atlanta on Jan 7th, 2011 during a five minute major

I guess it's okay to draw blood when your team is losing.

It wasn't necessarily a bad choice. I participated in that thread too tonight, and was trying to point out how those penalties were legit. But you have to be careful, because you're dealing with thousands of fans of 30 teams and then some all in one little room. It's like going into a swarm of bees covered in honey. The more important the game, the more riled up everyone is. You just have a say your peace and walk away if ya can. Trying to explain the difference between the missed call and the guy lying on the ice bleeding does no good. Even quoting the rule book will do no good.

Well that explains why I had never seen it. I never watch pure Eastern Conference regular season games if I can help it.

And that was a very intense powerplay for the Kings. It's clicking tonight! Can't believe that did not get a goal on it.

Well, it's looking unlikely that Marek Zidlicky will get his name on the Cup this season.
