Ya, we can't afford to lose the size on the forecheck. Poni needs to stay in.

Yep, that's exactly what they will do if we lose. Grasping at straws really, but that's what they will latch onto.

Devils have never got swept so we don't have to worry about that. LOL

That's not much comfort. The Rangers are irrelevant now. I want to win.

Saugus, The Devils have to stop trying to make the Fancy pass leading to a Perfect shot.

JUST SHOOT THE FRIGGIN' PUCK ON NET AND LOOK FOR REBOUNDS!!!!

Yeah I don't see a sweep happening at all. Gotta win the next two to shake up LA for game 5. Will be tough but doable with discipline. Go Devils

I just want to push it to 6, so we don't see it awarded to them in Newark.

Same.

Unfortunately, I was sandwiched between groups of Kings fans.

And, in the bathroom, some Kings fan in front of me said loudly, "Hey, is Kovalchuk or Parise playing tonight? Because I didn't notice". However true this may be, that doesnt mean I didn't want to beat the living **** out of him

So true. I think they are passing more now because LA doesn't shot block. NJ was more desperate to get shots off during the Rangers series as a consequence. It must be a shocker to be able to hold onto the puck a bit longer now which encourages the fancy play.

Then again, Quick does swallow pucks. Not to many rebounds...

Seeing Richards and Carter from my second row seat is bad enough. I can't imagine how pissed off I would be if they were awarded the Cup in the Rock.

ALL Goaltenders give up rebounds. There are never Goaltenders who swallow up every single puck.

The Devils need to stop being Fancy and start Shooting pucks at Quick. He's not been truly TESTED. LET HIM TRY TO "swallow up" 45 shots on net....

It's time for the guys wearing letters to prove why they're wearing them. Parise, Kovalchuk, and Elias have done **** all in this series. Our two goal scorers in this series are Volchenkov and Carter. Just think about that for a minute. A defensive defenseman with the offensive skills of a rock and a fourth liner are the only players to have scored in the Stanley Cup Final. That's just not acceptable. It's time for the stars on this team to cowboy the **** up and do their jobs, just like the fourth line has.

There were 2 ******* adolescent boys on the ice cream line (braces and all) in kings **** mouthing off. I said loudly that it was a shame their parents weren't around to see their kids acting like *******s.

They shut up after that.

This just blows, our shot at number 4 ruined cuz guys can't put it in the ****in open net.

Two games we couldve won.

Goals by Volchenkov and Carter.

I can only imagine what would happen if the Top 6 showed up and provided.

Hoping that happens in Game 3 or else weve just seen the last time our boys play ay home until next season.

It's time for Sykora to be put back in the lineup and score some clutch goals for us. Or at least score some Goals, PERIOD. No one else is doing it and I don't care if he's slow...We're at a point where we need to try SOMETHING ELSE; and that "SOMETHING ELSE" is More offense.

volchy has been the devils best player over the first two games in my eyes, along with the fourth line.

I'm not disagreeing with you. It was "one pass too many" on several plays tonight. However, I do think LA would rather give Quick a clear view than dive for shot blocks and I think that is why we see NJ trying for superior shot setup. Clearly it ain't working though so yes its time to simply get shots on net for rebounds.

Fans like that piss me off. With the bathroom incident, I just said that the guy has no idea when to stop when he kept going on.

Seriously, I wish someone just nailed him. I don't understand how you could be that obnoxious in the opponent's venue.
