He scored on the PP in Game 4 against the Rangers, along with an empty net.

Okay, I looked it up since none of you guys decided not to.

The Devils are one of 3 teams to have never been shutout in a playoff series.

New Jersey
Tampa Bay
Nashville

Obviously, the Devils have played in many more series than both Tampa and Nashville.
So it is quite a record the Devils hold.

Did Zubrus whiff on the Zidlicky pass in OT with an open net?

The guy in front of me jumped up so I missed it.

Should have won both games. Wish one of Kovy, Parise, Zajac, Clarkson or Elias burried a chance or two the past 2 games.

Should be at least 1-1. NYR & Philly were tougher.

Haha that happened to me game 3 against Philly. They were doing the play of the game but it sounded like they skipped it because play resumed. All I heard was a goal being scored, I flipped out beeping my horn and everything only to hear Matt go on to say "and that's tonight play of the game."

That's the big difference. Some of their star players (Kopitar, Doughty, Carter) have buried their chances. Our only goals were from Volchenkov on an own-goal and the 4th line.

Right forgot about that. So he does have over a goal in the past month.

That's the real issue. If that corrects we'll be alright, but the issue is that it has to correct

Is that the last time a team lost the first 2 at home and went on to win the series? That's mildly alarming

Although whoever said we'd lose the first 2 and win the next 4 has my support at the moment, though getting here was not preferred.

**** it. I'm biting and buying that unite a state T-shirt. Can't hurt and will be to disgusted to buy it later and I REALLY like it.

So this sucks mostly because we aren't playing bad we just aren't finishing and they are. Easily be 2-0 the other way or 1-1. Fact is we are here so one game at a time mode and just try and get this to 2-2.

This team has shown resolve they just need to dig deeper. Also maybe score a PP goal. Until they win 4 I am keeping the faith. To proud of this bunch just for getting here to give in now.

The answer is yes and I guess its due to happen again. Two things have to happen in Game 3. DeBoer has to make some sort of a change. I don't care who it is. Tallinder, Sykora, or Larsson. Secondly, as a poster pointed out earlier. We need a 4-1 or 4-2 victory. The Kings have to face adversity. Actually I think this could go 7. We fight tooth and nail to take this to 7 games and then we lose the 7th game at home.

Nah Doughty (I think it was him) tipped it. I was going nuts at Zubs infront of my TV but then I saw the replay.

There wasn't a Bill Buckner on the Red Sox til the ball went thru his legs.. Who says down 3-2 Quick doesnt let up a very soft goal. Remember Buckner was a very very good player over 2700 hits,

And so begins the Cinderella come back, going to win 3 of the next 4. Come home to Newark for game 7 and make the Rock explode with a Stanley cup clincher in the dying seconds of the 3rd period.

yet no one talks about the plays leading to that sequence. Buckner never should have even had to field that ball if his pitcher could hit a barn door.
