The sad part is the Devils probably actually thing they played a good game. They were playing a lot smarter against the Rangers.

While I agree with your point, LA looks way more rested both physically and mentally, good organized breakout, patience, and good decisions in the buildup, giving our forecheck no chance, I don't think this can be put that much on the Devils, but LA does deserve some credit.
And yeah, Quick is still to steal a game from us, goaltending has been great on both sides, but not something unreal, Devils have had close to no clear cut chances tonight.
