Gagne playing tonight? He'll score the game winner.

i thought the series would be us up 2-0 or at least tied right now. game one coulda gone either way but game 2 shoulda gone to the devils. im gonna stop being so confident in the devils because that hasnt been working so far. i keep on thinking that the devils are too good to lose but no one is that good. i do expect a win tonight tho. backs against the wall. thats when we play best. lets make this a series boys.

And for goodness sake play sykora!!!! we need another sniper to get one past quick.

It's pretty pathetic that a player can have 78 points in the regular season and then 7 points 2 games into the SCF.

Time for the uninjured and healthy star players to step up their game...

He's an upgrade over Richardson though (not that that's saying much). Gagne was projecting for ~18 goals this year on a full season. The risk, of course, is that with the rust he coughs the puck up a few times.

Clarkson needs to sit, and Sykora needs to take his place. Injured or not (it's REALLY looking like he is), he has been awful out there. And Sykora has been pretty well rested right now, and he has scored the most OT goals of anyone on this team in the POs... something we could really use right now!!!

You'd actually be surprised by the amount of Devils fans outside of NJ. We actually travel pretty well...

Someone said Quick is Henrik in a Kings uniform.

As much as we hate Lundqvist cause he plays for the rival I have to agree. I prefer Quick to Lundqvist, but let's be serious. If we can score 3 a night every game we win on Lundqvist we can score on Quick.

I think we have better fire power than most of the teams Quick has faced. St Louis was one of the most offensively challenged teams this playoffs with a deceiving looking goaltender who was Terry Sawchuk in the regular season, and first round but back to Ottawa backup Brian Elliott in the second round. That's not saying the Kings don't deserve to be here. We got to face frickin Scott Clemmensen, and Bryzgalov this playoffs too! Bryz did play better than most give him credit for that series though.

My point we can score on Lundqvist we can score on Quick. We got shutout by the King Henrik twice, but every win we scored 3-4 goals on him. Only advantage Quick should have is that we don't play him 6 times a year like Lundqvist.

Quick and Lundqvist play completely differently

you can't compare the 2 at all.

Devils fans have been noticeable in the lower bowl in LA before. And this is the finals. People travel for it.

Colin Fraser averages 0.06 goals per game in games I do not attend, and averages 1.5 goals per game in games I do attend.

Clarkson has had more chances than any player on our team. You can't bench him for not finishing, because then in theory we'd have a two man team of Volchenkov and Carter.

My buddy is actually flying out to LA for this. He just texted me that he landed at LAX. His buddy lives out there now though, and is a Kings fan. He's been lucky enough to see every playoff game live so far since the two middle series were in Philly, and NY which aren't far at all. That, and he has a buddy in South Florida, and he saw all the games there, and I did too. He said if it weren't for his buddy in LA though, or if we played Phoenix or any other team in the Finals he wouldn't have went to the road games.
