Toews missed part of the year, but they have Keith, Seabrook, Hossa, Kane, and Sharp.

(And they had John Scott )

Totally forgot Gagne was even on the Kings. Is this his first appearance this post-season?

I started to believe when Callahan tied it in game 6... It would've hurt much more if you're that close.

Kings are smart when they clear the puck on the PK. They dont clear it all the way down, stopping Maaaaaarty from stating plays

the devils were lucky to get to this point honestly. I mean the panthers had every chance to beat them, philly played no defense or goaltending, even though we played bad we still should have won plus we had a lot of bad injuries

Who gets Conn Smythe? Quick, Brown, or Kopitar?

Seriously. I was weary of giving him a 7m+ contract. He is a great, hardworking player, but nothing in his game is exceptional except his forecheck. When he joins the Rangers July 1st, his hands will be turned into stone. Book it.

Quick kind of reminds me of Richter a bit. He attacks the puck just about the same way Mikey did.

Torts would be wise emulating the Kings breakout strategy next season. Allow our Dmen to skate with the puck more and make more poised plays. The Kings do not overuse the stretch pass or hard around the walls.

Kings players are allowed to close the gaps to make shorter, quicker passes.

But knowing Torts, he thinks the game is still caught into a "pinball" like transitional approach. Not the smartest coach in the world.

Conn Smyth will probably go to Quick. Most consistent player for Kings throughout the playoffs. He never really had to be fantastic, but he was solid pretty much every game.

Everytime i hear "clear the puck" i get so pissed because of what the Rangers werent able to do which ended up costing them a chance to be in the finals
