feh. We can use Drummond as a big bargaining chip. Houston wanted him with Sac's #5 pick for their Howard plan. So now we hold the advantage with him sitting htere at 8 and we really put the screws to the Rockets.
Or BC ****s it up and takes Lamb or something

Please don't take Barnes. Golden State need big guys anyways. Have way too many shooters

Don't like this plan. Would rather a veteran C like Gray or someone else who can start for now, mentor Val, then move to the backup role when Jonas is ready to start. Someone has to teach him the NBA big man's game, and it sure as hell can't be Amir, Bargs, or Magloire.

Why did we have to lose that coin toss to GS. We could have had Barnes.

They aren't taking Drummond. Jerry West apparently ruled him out before the draft, but who knows.

Can't fault fate. It's more like "why did we have to torch the undermanned Nets in the last game of the year?"

Golden State is taking Harrison Barnes.
Toronto will take Austin Rivers, I think. Even though, I won't mind drafting AND keeping Drummond. His upside is sky high and talent is always important to keep adding.
Talent over NEED, any day.

Question: If there are a trade of picks (like if the Raps select and trade Drummond), when will it be announced?

Right before the pick. Like the NHL draft.
edit: actually I'm wrong, sometimes the teams draft for someone else. Not sure when that would be announced.

it's moot now, but I want to say it's the
owner who really likes him and favors him over the others. If anyone could put the moves on West and overrule him, it'd be the guy writing the paycheques.
