I'm not condoning that he walks. I think he'll chase some money anyway and we won't be able to give him that 6.66 mill he'll command at the minimum. Consider it a coping mechanism.

And that he has 1 goal on a goalie in like a month.

Fayne fans again!!!

Fayne has FIVE shot attempts this game. 3 missed shots, 2 fans

Someone remind me why it was a bad idea to suggest sitting Fayne for either Larsson or Tallinder?

If most of you guys were in the management position to trade players away, we'd be the New York Islanders next year.

You're finally coming around.

Only other thing you should have noted is that is doubly moronic to put an injured player on the same line as your other all-star forward. It's not exactly helping Parise any that he is playing with 1.5 linemates instead of 2.
Please just get the shoot off

Because Fayne's a defenseman that's good DEFENSIVELY? Has Fayne been made to look bad (defensively) even once this postseason? Yeah his inability to keep the puck in the offensive zone is maddening but Larsson and Tallinder really isn't the answer to anything in this series.

Most of us feel it already is

As long as NJ makes one big signing this offseason, whether it's keeping Zach or getting someone else, NJ should be fine next year. Obviously keeping the 4th line together is insanely important, too.

Do you honestly think THEY DON'T WANT TO WIN THE STANLEY CUP?

There are two teams playing he game, not everything that happens is because we blow. We're playing a hell of a team and it's pretty clear half our team is on the verge of severe physical collapse.

You know nothing about hockey.
People who usually have this attitude about something are those who have never actually done it, and think that all it takes is the desire. Actual execution is never part of the equation.

If they tried hard enough they would win every game! Right? Right??

Come on guys stop blaming everybody. This is a great team, and I know we're frustrated. I know I may have started this by saying I want Parise gone. My biggest gripe with Pete at this point is giving Kovy so many minutes this season which has caused him to die for the Finals.

We don't know what caused it to happen to him, but we can't play goons who can't play more than 4-8 minutes next year. We can't play him 25 minutes a night. I don't care what you say about Parise. Kovy is the heartbeat of our team for the most part. Where he goes so does the team. When he's dead out there the team as a whole is pretty dead. I love Parise as much as a lot of you, but not for that huge cap hit. He had a chance in the Finals, and choked. Was a non factor. I don't want him gone, but for some ridiculous cap hit GTFO.

Good thing you don't run a hockey team - they'd be in the basement playing with one dimensional floaters.

Who are you replacing those 3 with? You still didn't answer..

NJ cannot win this if they don't attack the puck.

What happened to Swarm it up?
