This team is just tired physicaly and mentaly. You see it after whistles and let's give to ceasar what belongs to ceasar... the Kings are damn good people. They have a heavy set of forwards (their line down the middle is just sick), they have a solid mix of defenders including one of the best up and coming d-men in the game and their goaltending is elite.
As much as I like Parise's game, there's certain things that piss me off like you wouldn't believe. When your team has no pulse, you go hard to the net and just skate by Quick as soon as the play get's blown down, that really grinds my gears. Make something happen, stay in front of his face, get him off his game... but no, he skates away and avoids any type of verbal or physical abuse. Grow a pair son and get your team going, that's why you have a ****ing "C" on your jersey.
Oh well, he'll look good alongside Datsyuk or Zetterberg.
You can genuinely appreciate everything that we went through as a team and fanbase to get to this point, but there are just no words to describe how awful it is to make it this close to the promised land and yet be so damn ****ing far away at the very same time. If we're going to be honest with ourselves, I'm pretty sure we're all wondering how we're even going to win a single game here.
The Kings are just too good right now and they're playing with all the confidence in the world. If you think that this team is going to completely relinquish their hold on this series, just forget it. It's not happening. And that's not even to say that I don't believe in the Devils. I know they're going to try, but the stark reality of the situation is that they're tired, injured and their confidence is broken. More then anything, the opponent is like a machine right now.
My only hope is that the Devils somehow find a way to get game 4 to go their way. They deserve to feel good about something in this series and even if it's just one game, at least it will be some form of a reward for them. They deserve that much because they worked so damn ****ing hard to get here.
I genuinely believe that if the Devils get that 5th game, they just may have a real chance for a game 6 as well, as crazy as that sounds. A shot of confidence would do wonders here. No where near enough to salvage this mess, but maybe just enough to give one last push and crack at this thing. It's hard to accept that the Devils aren't worthy of a single win here. That doesn't sit well with me. These guys deserve better.
The trick is going to be if LA will give the Devils any chance to get off the ground, because if they want it bad enough tomorrow, I'm not sure there will be anything NJ can do at this point.
This ****ing blows :/

No coincidence the Coyotes were playing the Kings when Tippett gave this press conference.
Let's not start to come up with laim excuses. We had a handfull of PP opportunities, including a full minute of 5 on 3, and we managed to do jack****. Martys sells calls as well and no one complains about it.

End of story.
Who is coming up with excuses? How did I use diving to excuse their performance? I'm pointing something out.
I was against mixing up the lineup too much going into this game but being down 3-0 now, well anything goes at this point. The Devils are trying hard but they just look gassed at this point. Honestly, there were signs of this in games 5 + 6 against the Rangers. We did well to beat those ****ers when we did.
Anyways, I really think the team could benefit form having some fresh legs in the lineup. It honestly couldn't hurt. The current group is probably not only tired, but I'd assume they're ***** mentally after these last 3 games.
The last two games of the Ranger series, really we only won those because of the fourth line and the fact Lundqvist was gassed too. Thank god we did win that Game 6 though, we probably would have died in Game 7 from what I've seen this series, and reliving '94 would have been a hundred times worse than anything that'll happen here.
They need to change the lineup for change's sake at this point. The irony is the most likely guy to get removed for Sykora is Josefson, who has the freshest legs of anyone. But he isn't really adding much either, and Sykora can add offense. Plus who knows if Sykora's even back in the NHL next year? Might as well let him play in Game 4.
Harrold hasn't been that bad either, but I'd find a way to get in Tallinder or Larsson. Head says Tallinder, heart says I want to get Larsson one more playoff game. Even if you have to take Zidlicky (who looks as shot as anyone) out instead of Harrold.

I didn't see any diving from anyone to be quite honest. Quick fell because Bernier clipped the back of his skate when he wasn't looking to get him off his game and generate some type of momentum for our club.

Thats absolute truth but at least he can act Quick should have been called for both. Dive and Bad Acting

If you call that a fall, I have someone from Nigeria that would like to put money in your bank account. All I need is your name, social security number, your address and your bank account number.

Clipped? Touched you mean. He looked like he shot him with a shotgun, the way he looked when he fell.

Trying to be stable on your skates is already a hard thing to do whitout having someone push the back of your skate when trying to backpeddle when you don't see it coming. Goaltenders aren't good skaters most of the time and I doubt Quick was trying to sell a call but that's just my opinion.
Like I said, Marty does it as well, you can take the Dustin Brown penalty in game #1 (or #2)... but no one says a thing. If we are going to complain about Quick, it would be logical to complain about Marty but since he's one of our own, we look the other way.
