Takes balls to constantly put Kovy and Parise together after admitting it shouldn't be that way a few weeks ago. That kind of conviction says something.

I still cant believe Peter DeBoer is putting INJURED Kovalchuk on the same line as Zach Parise.

What a ****ing moron

Yeah, lets put the crippled guy on the same line as the other star player. That way we increase the chance that BOTH Kovalchuk and Parise will be unproductive. BRILLIANT COACHING

YEP.

Kovy hasn't sucked, Elias hasn't sucked, nope just Parise.
As stated by numerous posts, EVERYONE has sucked except for Marty and the 4th line. Anyone trying to pinpoint it on one person is just reaching.

Where has poni and zubrus been? might as well just name everyone

Not a good period. Maybe they lose, but the behavior of this board is ridiculous. You're looking at the ECF champions that won two games to keep the season alive against Florida, dominated a heavily favored Flyers team and won a key series against the #1 seed and arch rival.

I too am frustrated, but the Kings are playing a tough, physical game and the Devils are just losing some key battles and finding it hard to finish. If they score early, maybe the D doesn't need to pinch as hard as they are now. Maybe..maybe..maybe...give this team some credit. They've played their guts out and won 12 playoff games. Let's make it 13 tonight!

No back against the wall resiliency this time. Mojo gone, players hurt and nothing left for the final. Oh well.
Its hard to accept but this is whats up.

So, hes a guy on the verge of breaking out, as is (Zach) Parise, as is (Ilya) Kovalchuk. I dont think its any secret. Weve got to score more than one goal and all those guys on that list have to find a way.
What's he supposed to say, Parise stinks and Kovy's hurt? That'd really help them play better.

That Kopitar goal was probably one of the most crushing for me. I feel so defeated right now.

I have absolutely no idea how that first goal was not whistled. It's a ****ing joke. A good couple of seconds went by where the ref CLEARLY could not see the puck, yet they just let those mother ****ers whack away at it. Go **** yourselves refs.

This is painful to watch and I don't understand why we keep putting the same guys on the PP just to constantly fail over and over. Kovy has been useless on the point.

Kovy deserves some criticism , but he's playing with an injured back

Parise, I don't even want to start about him.. he just never shows up in the playoffs, he's not an impact player, there I said it

Seriously, he's over-rated, man I am disappointed, I don't even know where to start, our top players just aren't getting it done, I'm looking at you Elias too... Whatever, I'm still happy about this run, just pissed as ****ed right now

Sore losers?!? Are you kidding me? These guys are getting paid big money...OUR MONEY that we paid for them through ticket sales, clothing & merchandise. I expect a 100% effort put forth every period!!! Instead, they squandered it & play 18-20 mins a game. Tonight...all hustle with no thinking.

If a CEO earning their kind of cash put as much poor effort into his job as the Devils have so far, he'd be fired.

In the end, its about RESULTS! Positive Results!!! Not perform here & there when its convenient.

We literally gave the Kings the entire series, starting back with game one.

If we lose this game the series is over. But I hope we win at least one and lose the last at home. That way the devils will be reminded by our fans of great season they had.Even if they didn't get the cup

It just sucks. All the excitement all playoffs long to have it all end like this. It's embarrassing. At least we beat the Rangers but will that really make up for getting swept in the Final??

The only thing I'm looking forward to (in a way) when the season ends Wednesday or Saturday is hearing just 'how' badly many of these guys are hurt, drained. Even at the end of the Ranger series they looked like they were at the end of their rope. Thank god Lundqvist got tired too or we would have blown that series and REALLY had a depressing offseason.
