^ wrong I watch all leaf games along with flame games and trust me he can be a lot worse! He makes some nice saves but than allows the worst goals. He allowed around 10 goals this year from just over center ice.

He also held them in allot of games. Leafs d coverage was terrible he will be a fine backup.

Lou has got to be going to TO. I wonder what they will send the other way. Hopefully now that teams have gone out got a goaltender that it really lowers the market for Lou and the Canucks don't get much of a return for him besides cap relief. Although, this could also mean that the Leafs are going after Thomas which I could very well see happening. The Leafs and B's have a well documented trading history between the 2 clubs so perhaps there is a deal there.

Yandle was available, for a while at least.

PHX D Keith Yandle was most certainly in play for trade, steep asking price, now looks as tho PHX has pulled him back...for now anyway.
Penguins compensating hard for their embarrassing first round loss against the Flyers.

I assumed when PIT made big moves to clear cap space, it was for a run at UFA Parise but it seems UFA Suter is more likely primary target.

Lou will be a tough trade. He's been great some nights, but otherwise mediocre on a stacked team.

Oh for sure, I think the only reason that he is still a Nucklehead is that Gillis was asking the moon and I think all he is being offered is a free space to the stands outside of NASA to watch the ships.

He's gonna have to sallow his pride otherwise if the Leaf's get Thomas he will be stuck with a Lecavalier contract for a backup.

I really want Parise to go the Pens. I have Crosby, Neal and Parise in my keeper pool. Parise playing alongside Crosby would be ridiculous. But I have Giroux to, so maybe he ends up in Philly.

That wouldn't be fair at all. The Pens would bury 10 goals a night.

I think Leafs win this trade, I'm not a big Schenn fan. Pretty close trade though, in terms of value.

Yeah, I'd rather gamble on JvR's upside. But Schenn will still probably progress into an Adam Foote-like player despite some uneven years recently.

No way Burke turns around and trades JVR to Vancouver. This is a player he has loved for a while. Big American winger. He's in toronto to stay.

I've always been hard on Schenn but I see the logic in this. Flyers two best D are both near retirement; Pronger is probably going to. Going forward Schenn will (hopefully) be the physical shut down D to make up for the loss of Pronger.

Yeah pressure on Schenn will be huge. Then again, Toronto fans will be expecting a ton out of JVR.

I think if Brayden wasn't on the Flyers, this trade would of never happened. JVR has more upside than Luke and although while I agree their respective value is currently at par, I think we would of seen the Flyers go for a bigger homerun if the family element was missing here.

Well we now Brayden won't be moved, maybe that makes Couturier more available for the right price.

I don't get how fans of other teams can rip us and our team apart....but I just comment on Luongo and I get banned from a topic. Pure hypocracy.
Anyways, Luongo and his contract sucks ass. So does the Vancouver Cancuks and the Edmonton oilers. there. ban me until Sept please.

hmm. rumblings that Colin Wilson might be available. If we're in the market for a long-term C with good top-6 potential, there's one with a whole lot of it.

Yeah that's true eh? I'm always cautious and diplomatic on other boards, but people come here constantly trolling. It's the same people too, and they come back over and over because it's fun for them to instigate us.
