Horrible. Reports say he was electrocuted by a railroad track.

RIP.

Wow, really sad news. He died just some miles away from where I live. Media reports that he and his friends climbed a "parked" train. It must have been in the middle of the night, because the first emergency calls got in at 03:50.

RIP

My condolences go out to his friends, family, and fans. I was just reading an article about this earlier in the local newspaper as he played for our local hockey team a few years ago. This is very sad news.

That's usually the first thing they teach at school "now children, don't climb on the trains"

RIP

Are these special kinds of trains/tracks?

We climbed trains every day on the way to school as kids — Shortcuts, you know?

A lot of trains in Europe have a bracket and they connect to hanging wires rather than a 3rd rail.

Sad day for hockey again.

We lost also the Sovjet legend Vladimir Krutov today. He was really a big name at my childhood.

I'm from Toledo originally, talked to some friends back home and he was really well liked in town and with the fans. Very sad to see, life is so damn short.
