I pre-ordered it the day it became available. But after hearing the first three songs, I started having doubts.

I won't go that far but it's not as bad as people feared. Or maybe I had low expectations...

So what's the consensus is this any good? Worth buying? I've been spending way too much money on music lately. Don't want to waste 10 or so dollars on a mediocre album.

Well, I downloaded it and I am liking it more and more. Strangely the songs with Chris singing the vocals are my favourite so far. Liquid State is easily my favourite off the album so far.

I buy almost everything I have. Used to download, but iTunes is cheap and convenient. There's a lot of rare, hard to find stuff there as well. That being said, I only really buy music from artists who aren't so big and popular. If you like the music and the artist, you support them.

He's gotta be trolling us right?

I mean if you don't like it, then just ignore it. For example, I don't like Justin Bieber, but i'm not screaming filth on anything JB related.

To each his own brah.

Decent album. Animals is my favourite song. Some fantastic guitar work on that track.

I just found out that the Welsh band The Joy Formidable are opening for Muse...that's awesome. Their debut album from last year is better than anything Muse has done lately (Muse are still making the singles but the consistency just isn't there for me since Absolution).

Anyways, they're a pretty terrific band and good to see live from what I heard, go watch them if you're going to one of the shows. I think this is one of their newer songs, I wish Muse made stuff like this rather than doing weird experiments. Just a normal rock song, starts off slow ends big. They do some terrific outros like the one at the bottom, wish Muse did more of that stuff still
