Kelly Buchberger was the person who came to mind as soon as i read the thread title. i don't think there has been a less skilled player become such a valuable commodity and have such a long career. if only some of the stars today had half his heart, we wouldn't be complaining about low scoring in the NHL.

Kelly Buchberger. Peter Forsberg got very lazy in the corners in his last few seasons in the NHL...

Hands down John Tonnelli ?spelling?. You could almost hear the Rocky music playing when he went out for a shift.

So many good names mentioned so far, and undoubtedly others worthy of mention, so I'll stick to the CBJ's short 4-year history by suggesting Kevin Dineen.

John Tonelli indeed. I'm surprised his name has only come up once in a topic about hard-working players.
Another name to add to that list is Tony Granato.

I've heard Clarke was an extremely hard worker. A top defensive center in his day as well as an offensive force.

I remember a couple of them. Bob Bourne of the New York Islanders, John Tonelli of the New York Islanders, Rick Tocchet, and Randy McKay.
