I hope it looks similar to this. The only thing that's worrying is the defensive-end where it's lacking consistency and havent had a chance to be played together. Maybe Taco will be in for Elm too. Hope not.

Tici taca in the opener? anything than 0-0, 1-0 or 0-1 would be surprising.

If we fielded a team based on individual merits, these midfielders and attackers would be it. But I'd think hard about putting Bajrami there instead of Toivonen, just for the reason that he's more of a natural left wing. It gives us more options attacking on that flank. Zlatan, Bajrami, Larsson and Elmander would be a really speedy offense.

At football events such as Euro and WC I always cheer against countries that are good in hockey. I don't want that eventual success in soccer take away attention from hockey in those countries.

Best team imo. I would prefer Wilhelmsson over Bajrami on the leftwing too

With Källström as one of the DM/M you need to have more footspeed than Elm next to him and as good a "safe" passer as him. If Svensson is healthy he is your best choice there really.

Great openers! Russia looks intimidating. May be a dark horse.
And TV4 was just a joke airing that game.

5 min commercial.

AB: "Welcome back. Which team did you think where the best Henke?"
HENKE: - "Well, Russia was solid and Dzagoev looked great.
AB: Okay that's the time we had, change channel to Xtra(5 % of pop has) to see what are commentators have to say.

5 min commercial.

AB: "Welcome back. What does the Czech has to change to the second"
Random girl: "Well they have to score."

AB: We take a 2 min break then it's kickoff. Zap to see further discussions.

2 min commercial.

"Welcome back. Give us the second half Niklas and Anders."

Kickoff 2nd half.

Going into the euro camp/friendlies I had Svensson alongside Källström but he looked really slow/poor against Iceland, and Elm has been absolutely great. I think it depends a little bit on the opponent. Against England and France I want Wernbloom in that spot. Against Ukraina I'd go with Elm.

Maybe I can agree with Wernbloom against France. But I think Elm should start against England, we need his creativity cuz England aint the team that gonna play an offensive type of game, like France, Spain, Germany etc.

I don't know much about soccer. Could someone please post a comparison of a hockey player for each player on the Swedish squad? Like, Zlatan = Ovechkin.

Would be much appreciated.

Yeah, I hope Isaksson skips the blunders this championship. He has the worst ball technique ever too. Almost embarrassing.

Its good that Guidetti isn't on the squad. Wouldn't contribute.

Shameful first half. Shameful. A f***ing disgrace!

Better in the second half, but far from good enough. In total maybe the worst championship match from a Swedish team since the World Cup 1990.

And we concede two goals from headers, being the tallest team in the tournament.
