You can add Konopka and change the order during face-offs:

Tangs - Jokinen - Iginla
Glencross - Cammy - Cervenka
Baerschi - Mueller - Backlund
Aliu - Konopka - Comeau

Bouwmeester - Wideman
Giordano - Butler
Fistric - Brodie

Cammy, Mueller, Konopka can all take a face-off.

Any interest in a deal like this:
Add to either side as you think necessary I'm not all that good at proposals.

To Calgary:
Niklas Hjalmarsson
Frolik

To Chicago:
Jay Boumeester
3rd round pick 13

Edit: changed the value around as it was a little more focused on Calgary

I highly doubt Chicago would give up that much for Bouwmeester, if they did, you take that deal and run.

Then we could erase the second round pick and add to our side, maybe a third?

The only way Chicago would ever take on JBO would be if Seabrook or Keith were moved for goalie/forward help.

Hey if you guys want to remain a cap team, that's your prerogative. No need to be rude about it. Good luck July 1st.

Both contracts expire next year. Thoughts? Any interest?

Leafs have some younger players rising through the ranks and could very well make either of these two expendable. At the same time giving you guys some depth at the center position.

The only person I can see us getting as a C is Berglund from STL. He fits exactly what the Flames want. Yet we need to take cap back and he's only 24. He is a big guy and I think he would progress here nicely

It could also be considered rude to post such an offensive proposal on another team's board. Why would we want to take on your trash and give up picks in the process for such a valuable player as JBo?

Because that trade was help to our cap??? we took on more cap for two injury prone 2nd line centers.

It was for either or, not both, hence the backslash. Thanks for coming out.

We have no problem spending to the cap and the trade did nothing for us and it greatly undervalued Jbo.

If we are looking for a young forward to play with Sven what about JONATHAN AUDY-MARCHESSAULT http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/p...php?pid=106595

He is 20 and a UFA and was his AHL teams top scorer.

lol

I love how the Flames are supposed to add a 2013 2nd or 3rd round pick in that deal.....like we weren't getting butt hammered hard enough just giving up a 25 minute a night/82 games per year d-man for one of TO's band aids with legs.

I'd frickin love Berglund, but the chances of STL letting him go for anything short of a massive over payment are extremely slim.

Look I'll be nice to you about it, but we're not looking to trade away Bouwmeester and certainly not looking to add picks to get rid of him for two injury prone guys. He's still a top pairing D on our team (and quite a lot of teams) and if the deal is right we'd definitely be willing to part with him, but we're not desperate.

I like how we were giving up a top pairing d-man AND a pick for Matt Lombardi. Matthew "18 Points Last Year" Lombardi. Sorry for the rudeness but that proposal is just rotten.

If Suter leaves, the Preds need a D pairing guy to play with Weber. JBO seems like he could work, for the right price. What would you be looking for in return? We have tons of D prospects, especially offensive (Ellis and Blum), but if that isn't your need, we could try to work something else out.

Ellis or Blum would be a good starting point.
