The Devils have confidence again, they were never gonna give up and now they believe they can win it all again. The Kings have to come out tonight like the did earlier in the playoffs. They need to find their fore check and really hit the Devils D-men. I have a feeling if the Kings are to have a shot tonight, Quick will have to steal it. Kings have to play hard, physical, and disciplined.
What is that? Really, can you explain to me what is in these pictures? I know there are fries in one of them, after that I am not sure.
Oh man, I hope those pictures don't do it justice. Those look disgusting and I am one that likes fast food. I'm thinking for luck you need either some El Pollo Loco or Carl's Jr. Support those who support the Kings. If I were anywhere near California I'd be getting some of that tonight for the game. But I'd also be getting some Parmesan chicken fries from the place downtown I found. I forget the name of it though, but those were amazing as was the hoagie.
Great now I am hungry and need to go for groceries. Go Kings Go!
Edit: I just remembered it was called Hoagies and Wings.
I think some of you buy in too much to this talk of confidence and pressure and momentum. Each game is isolated from all others. There is no momentum that is going to carry over from one game to the other. The amount of pressure is no greater for one team than the other, they're both playing a game. It's a matter of one team finding more ways to score than the other. Second and third opportunities is what matters most.
Take the last game as an example, the Kings had great single opportunities to score and take a lead or jump ahead, but unfortunately those scoring chances didn't result in a second or third chance for the Kings. Look at Carter's OT goal where they had the first great opportunity off the rush and a pass attempt to Penner which led to Carter's second opportunity that left him open for a shot from the high slot. They need to follow up their chances. They do that, they close out this series.
IN-N-OUT BURGER = simply the BEST 'fast food' burgers PERIOD bar none !
Why ? they're made FRESH never frozen, as are the French fries, ice cream shakes, etc.
Their slogan is 'Quality You Can Taste', and it's true ... quality, consistency and customer service are all superior to any other fast food chain you've ever been to.
TORTA AHOGADAS = A typical dish from the Mexican state of Jalisco, particularly in the city of Guadalajara, but since we have several million south of the boarder transplants we have some of the best Torta's (spanish for Sandwhich) around, especially with all the gourmet food trucks in Los Angeles also.
Tortas Ahogadas are made with birote bread (also called bolillo) characteristic of the region. Specifically, it is made with birote salado, which has a thick, crunchy crust and softer interior which is more salty than sweet. The consistency of the bread permits the sandwich to be submerged in sauce without crumbling or dissolving. The bread is sliced open on one side and the sandwich is filled with chopped, fried pork. Fillings of chicken, beans and cheese are sometimes available. The sandwiches are served with onion rings, radishes, avocados and chili peppers. It is called "drowned" because the sandwich is submerged totally or partially in a sauce made primarily of a dried chili pepper called chile de árbol. Less spicy versions of the sandwich, made with a tomato-based sauce are also available. The sauce can be either spicy or mild. The first is based on ground arbol chilies, vinegar, garlic, oregano and other spices. Sweet sauce, which is considerably less spicy, is made of red tomatoes and chili peppers. If the sandwich is ordered "media ahogada" or "half drowned," it is dipped partially in the sauce.
The torta ahogada is often said to hold a special place in the hearts of many people who are from Guadalajara or have spent time there. Some people go to great lengths to seek out tortas ahogadas in places outside of the region. The people from Guadalajara claim that no one really visits Guadalajara without making a stop to try a torta ahogada. YES they are that good, especially if you like HOT spicey Food.
