Frk has been really, really good the last two games. Pretty exciting.
Frk's dad came over to Halifax for a week recently, ever since then Frk has been fantastic. Might have just been the shot in the arm he needed to get going.
The 16th can't come soon enough! I've missed the last 5 home games and need my live hockey fix before I go insane!

This is a long stretch of no Hockey at home for the Moose. I better get my tickets soon cause i have a feeling it's going to be a huge crowd that night. DND appreciation night too.
It'a a sign of a great team when you get production from everyone. It's like watching the 08/09 Spitfires! Lets see if they can match that record of 57-10-0-1.
Boys got complacent with the 5-1 lead, took some stupid penalties and Rimouski capitalized and stole all the momentum. When the team gets the "deer in the headlights" look, you need your goaltender to bail you out and Fucale was unable to do that tonight.
Frk was stringing some good games together, then the old, undisciplined Frk rears his ugly head and takes a critical penalty and then gets himself an extra 10 minute misconduct for running his mouth after.
I hope this teaches this group a very valuable lesson here... can't take any team for granted whether you are up 5-1 or not. When you go through the motions you get lazy, take stupid penalties, and lose the game.
Should be a long bus ride back after losing a game they should have easily won.
Sometimes a team needs a loss like this to bring them back to reality.
Poor discipline! I hope this loss humbles the team. The Herd have been cruising to victory a lot during the streak. Now it's time for them to get back to the fundamentals.

16-1-0-1 into the all-star break, I'll take it Frk had a great game until OT, but i can't fault just him... total team undiscipline, and lack of energy in the 3rd.
Fucale needed to bail us out, and he couldn't... but when you're shorthanded for almost the entire 3rd, it's hard to hold on... Can't fault Fucale too much, seems like most of his goals in the past few games have gone in on the PP.
On to Gatineau, and the subway series for some... Go moose!!
