Just over 5 minutes in and the Moose are up 2-0. Both goals scored on the PP by Fournier, Drouin assisting on both. MacKinnon and Frk have the other assists. Halifax is heading back to the PP again, perhaps Fournier can go 3/3?

EDIT: Now a 5 on 3.. Moose will most likely be up 3-0 in a matter of seconds.

Frk with the PP goal from Drouin, 3-0 Moose.

3-3.... Another weak goal on Fucale!! He was able to handle a breakaway.. but couldn't handle a simple shot from the blueline.. No wonder his draft stock is sliding..

Oh did they ever!! 18-2-0-1 on the season, MacKinnon now with 35 points in 21 games... Drouin with 33 in 15!! 4 assists on the night for JD, yet he only gets the 3rd star? Frk (1,2) gets the 2nd star and Fournier (3g) with the 1st.

Well done Moose. Next game Sunday vs. Val-D'or (12-9-0-2).

I work on Sunday. Missed tonight game because I just bought a house. I haven't been to a game since the middle of October! I'm having hockey withdrawals, lol

Don't worry, we still have another 40 or so games left in the season!! Better off going to games later in the season, teams will compete harder for better playoff spots, players in the draft class will push it that extra mile.

Myself, I am not missing the NHL one bit! As a Leaf fan, it just gives me time off from watching them lose yet again.. and as long as I have the Mooseheads and NHL 13, i'm set.

Ps. Congrats on the new house!!

Well 40 total lol. Not sure how many home games are left...

PS: Thanks...although now that I'm ripping into the house, I see how many half a$$ed improvements the old owner did. Good thing I got a deal on this place lol.

I was at the game tonight, excellent crowd at the Metro Center with an attendance of 10,175. With this team being so strong this season plus the NHL lockout the Moose a drawing the best I've seen in years.
As for tonight's game the offense was great once again. The PP was huge going 6 for 11. I thought MacKinnon looked good tonight and was probably his best game in his last 5 (not including the Super series). Drouin was also very creative with the puck tonight and put up 4 assists. Pretty soon he is going to over take Nate in scoring.

The guy`s wrister shot/pass hit Konrad`s skate in front and re-directed in. It wasn`t a clean shot that beat him, he was sliding across to where the shot was going (a teammate).

Yes. He's much faster and giving a better effort night in night out even when he's not scoring (which was his downfall last year, when he went into a slump)

He's shown better passing and vision out there too...

He'll be used as trade bait, or could be an impact player for us down the stretch... It's nice to have.

Seems as if the Moose are gonna win another one tonight against Val-D'or!! About 5 minutes left in the 3rd, Moose are up 4-2. Andrew Ryan and Jonathan Drouin both have 2 goals.. Chris Clarke had the start in goal tonight.

That should've been better. Getting a team on their 4th game in 5 days, and with the depth we have it shouldn't have been that close... But a wins a win, Ryan is really improving, and boy can that Drouin skate.

Didn't Ciampini get invited to the Canadiens training camp? That might have given him a little extra motivation coming into this year. He's playing at a whole different level now, and he's still getting better.

A fairly close game this afternoon but a win is a win. Beautiful goal by Drouin today, man can that guy skate and stick handle. Zlobin was also impressive today too for the Foreurs. Next game Wednesday night against Baie-Comeau who have been on a impressive stretch themselves.

The Trey Lewis hit, in the 1st period was OUTSTANDING.

You'll see it around :13 of this video and then the replay, following. http://youtu.be/fLP4Ol167Fo

Sergeev seriously got Kronwalled. The announcer even said that Lewis backed up a step or two and caught the kid with his head down.

Between that and the 1st Drouin goal, I'm not sure which one was more HON material.

Great to see Ryan playing the way he is. His drives to the net are so powerful and he's finally using his big frame to his advantage. And also good to see Frk really gelling with MacKinnon and Drouin. He's dishing the puck off and it's been very effective. On top of that, it creates the Fournier-Andrews-Ryan line which will be an absolute hell for opponents.

Also really impressed with their puck movement out there.

Looks good on him. Everytime I've watched him play he takes cheapshots and is a real mouth piece. Nice to see him get tuned in
