Huge game from Fucale today.

Marty Frk with eight penalty minutes.

A close game this afternoon. Brandon Whitney was solid in nets tonight or the Moose could of been up by a few more goals. Fucale was good once again. Drouin's early season tear seems to have cooled off a little which won't help his chances for the WJHC. Frk was totally undisciplined again this time taking 4 minors, one which negated a PP. I didn't see him on the ice after the 4th minor thou i could of just missed him.

Ducharme definitely stapled him to the bench after the 4th one. He wasn't out after that.

He was at the game, watched the whole thing. Not sure when a deal will be made, but perhaps soon?

Really? He had 18 points in 10 games in November and has only been held off the scoresheet once in his last 11 games.

Edit: 9 games.

Yeah he hasn't cooled down and has even improved his physical game to maybe get a look from HC. He didn't have a great weekend points wise though.

Sounds like Hannay is going to Victo for a pick (4th?)

First 10 games 23 points 2.3 ppg

Last 11 games 19 points 1.72 ppg

That looks to me like hes cooled off. I am not saying he's been bad or anything of late but i also knew he wasn't going to be scoring at the pace he was early on. That would of been unrealistic expectations.

@CH_WillyPalov: Sawyer Hannay trade to Victo now official. Halifax also sends a 2013 6th to Tigres for a 2013 4th. The pick Hfx receives is Cape Breton's.

Got to help out Hannay by finding him a place to play, and improve a draft pick. Not bad.

In other news,
http://www.tsn.ca/world_jrs/story/?id=410842

Both MacKinnon and Drouin get invites for for World Junior camp. Here's hoping they reunite Huberdeau, MacKinnon, Drouin during the camp, that should make the decision easier.
I hope Fucale takes notes on this years World Juniors, he'll be getting his chance soon enough.

AH, Duke.. I knew I was forgetting someone on the team! I know Lovell's played a few games this season, I don't expect him to get much time considering he's a rookie.. how's he been so far?

Duke is always in the line-up, Lovell will probably play as 7th D.

Good offensive instincts and a smooth skater, I'm fine with Lovell coming in now.

Alcalde's skating isn't great but he loves to hit.

Lovell is a great skater. One of the best on the team and has good offensive instincts... Playing a little nervous ATM, but that's expected... More ice and he'll be a force in years to come.

I don't think his puck skills or decision making are anywhere near what they need to be for him to get drafted. Not yet at least.

Who's their? Alcalde is a 6th round healthy scratch...

Lovell, if not concussed by MacKinnon last year, could've made the team and developed some... He has the tools, but not enough confidence or playing time to get drafted.

Too bad... he's been lights out lately.

Hopefully the offense can make up for it.
