Places to watch game tomorrow in LA

So a friend and I want to drive from the IE tomorrow and watch the game near or around Staples. We already called ESPN Zone and ya that's not going to happen as they said people start waiting in line at 8am. Any other suggestions of places in downtown that have game parties? Any help please, thanks!

Everywhere at LA live was crazy last week.

You could try the Los Angeles Brewing Company, Big Wangs, The Down and Out or maybe even the Escondite( I think they only have two tvs though).

If you want to be downtown your best bet is to get there before noon.

Find parking and immediately head to LA Live.

There will be plenty of spots for you to choose from.

Im sure you can even get into ESPN Zone

FYI, I got to ESPN Zone at 11:30am yesterday and got into the main screening room. I know it wasn't a home game, but figured I'd pass the info along.

There's the new Hooters near Staples, too. But I'm guessing that will be as much of a madhouse as ESPN zone.
You could try just wandering into Staples Center. Tell them you're with Charlie Sheen - they'll let you right in.

Honestly I'd say don't go. It's cool for the vibe but it's hard to really watch the game. I went on Wednesday and spent most of the game either in line or walking the street. Ended up at LA brewing company and it was alright but the bartenders were weeded and i spent half the 3rd (and Doughtys goal) in line getting beers. Big Wangs seemed like a cool spot if you get there early enough. El Cholo has tv's the size of my computer screen. Only solid tip I can give is there is a parking lot on 11th and Hope for $10, other spots were anywhere from $40-100 so be ready to shell out for parking.

My buddy just called me talking about some nonsense he just heard on the news about LA Live or whatever. He was saying there will be street closures and you will be charged $10 for every hour you are there? I'm a bit confused and this just doesn't make sense to me. Anyone else just see that?

I think he is referring to the policy that each person at ESPN Zone must spend 10 dollars an hour. I read it on another thread, posted by Tony I believe.
