At the conclusion of the draft (or now if you really want to) you can start sending me your rankings of the sixteen teams in the league (1-16). I'll make a power rankings like i've done in the past.

Solid draft. May try to upgrade the D. And get more Kings while maintaining the best team possible. Wanted King there.

I'll trade you Dwight King and Slava Voynov for Tobias Enstrom and Daniel Sedin.

Send it in. I'll call Duncan and them someone else to go after Enstrom. I then win the trade

David Krejci - John Tavares - Patrick Kane
David Perron - Joe Thornton - Johan Franzen
Ray Whitney - Adam Henrique - Patric Hornqvist
Andrew Shaw - David Legwand - Derek Dorsett
Josh Bailey, Ryan Strome, Matt Martin

Dan Boyle - Travis Hamonic
Mark Streit - Dennis Seidenberg
Justin Schultz - Matt Carle
Carl Gunnarsson

Carey Price
Brian Elliott

I think it's pretty good. I had the 2nd most points last year.

In: John Tavares, Ray Whitney, Patric Hornqvist, David Legwand
Out: Martin Havlat, Kyle Okposo, Frans Nielsen, Steve Sullivan

Great trade off. May have taken a slight hit on D but I think they'll do fine.

In: Mark Streit, Travis Hamonic, Dennis Seidenberg, Justin Schultz, Matt Carle
Out: Brian Campbell, Niklas Kronwall, Dan Hamhuis, Andrew MacDonald, Tony Lydman

Rick Nash - Danny Briere - Ryane Clowe
David Backes - Mike Ribeiro - RJ Umberger
Steve Ott - Cody Hodgson - Artem Anisimov
Sven Baertschi - Chris Kelly -Kyle Wellwood
Joe Colborne - Lauri Korpikoski - Jakob Silfverberg
Stephen Gionta

Erik Johnson - Dan Hamhuis
Dennis Wideman - Ian White
Jared Cowen - Shane O'Brien
Mike Weber

Henrik Lundqvist
Craig Anderson

Complete overhaul of my squad this year. I decided to change it up from my approach of pure skill, since last year the injury bug bit me pretty damn hard... along with, you know, having no depth at all. I think a lot of the young players I have on my squad should have good seasons. Having Nash out of Columbus (hopefully) should help too, and solid performers across the board should ensure I actually make the playoffs this year.

Milan Michalek - Steven Stamkos - Nathan Horton
Antoine Vermette - Travis Zajac - Jeff Carter
Nick Foligno - Kyle Turris - Chris Neil
Jamie McGinn - Mark Scheifele - Chris Bourque
Benoit Pouliot

Zdeno Chara - Zach Bogosian
Roman Josi - Adam Larsson
Braydon Coburn - Johnny Boychuk
Erik Gudbranson

Cam Ward
Anders Lindback

Overhauled my bottom six and defensive core, and added Jeff Carter to the top six. Finished 9th place last year, the difference between me being able to make the playoffs this year is if my youth (Foligno, Turris, McGinn, Scheifele, Josi, Larsson and Lindback) have breakout seasons.

I'll send in my vote for the power rankings tomorrow.

Greatly improved my defense and goaltending from last season. My forward group is a little riskier than I'd like it to be

Gabriel Landeskog - Matt Duchene - Ryan Malone
Wayne Simmonds - Andy McDonald - Matt Read
James van Riemsdyk - Brayden Schenn - Alex Tanguay

Extras: Cam Atkinson - Todd Bertuzzi - Jason Chimera

Brent Burns - PK Subban
James Wisniewski - Kyle Quincey
Ryan Whitney - Brayden McNabb

Extras: Ryan Ellis* - Erik Gustafsson

Corey Schneider
Ilya Bryzgalov

* - Will Be In My Minors To Start Season

Great depth at forward. Look for Schenn and van Riemsdyk to break out this year. If one of them does not I can plug Bertuzzi in who is always consistent.

Defense may need some work but we think it will make do. McNabb is the key. 20 points in his last 26 games last year when he returned to the AHL. Could get 18+ minutes a game with the Sabres this year.

Goalie tandem will be best in the league if Luongo is traded from Vancouver. Look for Bryzgalov to have a bounce back year.

Your 2012-2013 WORLD CHAMPION

#10 Corey Perry - #9 Mikko Koivu - #14 Justin Williams
#26 Matt Moulson - #11 Jordan Staal - #26 Patrik Elias
#22 Curtis Glencross - #51 Valtteri Filppula - #21 Patrik Berglund
#16 Clarke MacArthur - #28 Kyle Brodziak - #23 Kyle Palmieri

#15 Colin Greening - #85 Mathieu Perreault - #12 Nail Yakupov

#33 Alex Goligoski - #8 Drew Doughty
#41 Andrej Meszaros - #7 Brent Seabrook
#5 Luca Sbisa - #44 Andrej Sekera

#2 Simon Despres - #77 Jonathon Blum

#32 Jonathan Quick
#33 Jacob Markstrom

Forwards In:
Moulson, Staal, Filppula, Berglund, MacArthur, Greening, Perreault, Yakupov

Forwards Out:
Roy, Laich, Foligno, Tlusty, Goc, Raymond, Lapierre, E. Wellwood

Defense In:
Goligoski, Meszaros, Sbisa, Sekera, Despres, Blum

Defense Out:
Garrison, Boychuk, Corvo, McBain, Gilbert, Gunnarsson

Goalies: Same as last year

Analysis: The champion Preds feel their team has vastly improved offensively and defensively from last year. They've been able to retain league MVP (let's be honest, I wouldn't have won without him) Jonathan Quick between the pipes, along with goalscorers Corey Perry, Curtis Glencross, Justin Williams, and Kyle Brodziak and puck feeders Patrik Elias and Mikko Koivu. They were also able to retain Drew Doughty and Brent Seabrook on the back end and back up tender Jacob Markstrom. The Preds are hoping the contract years of Staal, Filppula, Berglund, and MacArthur can pay off, and hope premier draft pick Nail "Yak" Yakupov can turn in a great rookie year. Also adding key players Matt Moulson and Alex Goligoski can help in the supporting scoring efforts. The Predators feel they are the team to beat once again! Good luck all!
