The only thing that has me in a predicament is I forgot Cervenka went into Fantrax as a $0 cap hit.
You have Gonchar, RNH, and Elliott in your lineup...

When I said fear me mutha****as I meant in regards to how angry I'll be when I find out how much cap trouble I'm in.

In the NHL, teams can only go 10% over the cap during the off-season.
Depending on how much your UFAs/RFAs sign for, you could likely be over the 10% limit.

If HC wants to put that rule in I'll coincide I guess, but I don't see how it has any bearing on the fantasy league we're currently in, do you?

Yes, because you're abusing the salary cap.

You drafted guys you couldn't afford.
If you didn't draft them, it could have changed a bunch of things in the draft (because other people would probably draft them).

I could have drafted a bunch of guys I couldn't afford, but I realized I only had so much cap space and drafted guys with small cap hits, instead of drafting better players who had higher cap hits.

Jagr should get around $3 mil, Downie should get $3-4 mil per year, and King shouldn't get more than $2-2.5 mil.
And if I can keep Tarasenko on my roster (which I should), he wont get more than $1.5 mil (not 100% sure on the upper limit for ELCs at his draft position).
You'll be happily suprised when King signs then. He'll be in the 1-1.75 range likely.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. I was just saying that worst case scenario he gets ~$2 mil.

Honestly. So what? I used the fact that there was no rule disallowing it to make a scenario that would allow me to manage aspects of the draft.

It's cheating. Is that so hard to grasp? People drafted their teams with the salary cap in mind. If you really don't want to abide by the rules you can have your team but I pray to god that no team trades with you and come October you'll be royally screwed so people can poach your players for free.

So you're saying if anyone does something that hasn't been addressed that allows them to do something unrealistic that is beneficial to them, it's fine?

So you're admitting to drafting players you knew you couldn't afford and were going to drop, just so someone else couldn't draft them?

Also, is Fantrax completely updated rosterwise?

Nuckles, if King signed for that I'd be mad. 4 months does not make a multi millionaire

Yes, pretty much exactly what I am admitting to. I was never remotely aware that this was a rule.
