Three heroes died in Aurora taking bullets for their girlfriends

Ugh..gut wrenching

Quote:
Three survivors of the Colorado movie-theater massacre escaped with minor wounds, but were left with broken hearts because their heroic boyfriends died saving them.

In final acts of valor, Jon Blunk, Matt McQuinn and Alex Teves used their bodies to shield their girlfriends as accused madman James Holmes turned the Aurora cineplex into a shooting gallery.

Blunk’s girlfriend, Jansen Young; McQuinn’s girlfriend, Samantha Yowler; and Teves’ gal pal Amanda Lindgren made it out of the bloodbath — but they would have been killed had it not been for the loves of their lives.

“He’s a hero, and he’ll never be forgotten,” a tearful Jansen Young told the Daily News of Blunk. “Jon took a bullet for me.”

She was too distraught to speak more, but her mother called Blunk, 25, who had two young children from a previous relationship, “a gentleman.”

I was thinking the same for Sandusky. Tie him to a tree in State College. Victims and their families get first crack at him, students next. No weapons, but have at him however else you want.

Sherman Hemsley, the actor who made the character George Jefferson famous in "The Jeffersons," has died, El Paso cops tell TMZ. Hemsley died at his home in El Paso, Texas. Sources tell us ... it appears Hemsley died from natural causes. Hemsley, who was 74, became famous during his appearances on "All in the Family." The spin-off, "The Jeffersons" was a monster hit. That is the definition of a hero. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13).

So I'm heading back to Philly this weekend with my girlfriend. What are some good local brews you all recommend? Also, do you know a place that would sell said beer warm so we can drive it back 5 hours? Do beer distributors sell local brew?

Fei Lin, 41, of the Niqiao village near Wenling City, in east China’s Zhejiang province, told police he was asleep when the thieves burst into his room and put a bag over his head, according to CEN/EUROPICS and as reported in the Daily Star.

"They put something over my head and pulled down my trousers and then they ran off," Lin said. "I was so shocked I didn't feel a thing - then I saw I was bleeding and my penis was gone."

Okay I was almost positive when I checked ICB's followers he had over 30000, now he has over 100k. I am not positive about the 30k(fairly sure though), but thats a huge jump for someone to take within a week.

Organ trafficking ...not uncommon there but a penis? Maybe there is an eggroll shortage?

I saw it this past week as well. I thought it was good, but not as good as The Dark Knight.

Honestly one thing that really bothered me was that Bane was simply difficult to understand. It ruined the appearance of his character for me.

We were talking about this in the thread on the entertainment board

We think some people have problems with the filter they used.. To a lot of us, he sounded fine.. To others they couldn't hear him

Yeah I didn't have any problems understanding Bane. And if I did, it was probably so minor that I pieced what he was saying together without even thinking about it.
