Watching the Kings raise their banner will motivate our team. Hank shuts out the Kings in the season opener. Book it right now.

I ****ing hate being the one team that gets picked to watch the cup banner go up... We got this bull **** with Pittsburgh to start the '09-'10 season too.

Rangers play the Isles January 15th, the day after my birthday. Can you say, birthday present?

Is it just me or are there FAR more road games this season than home games? Dramatically so?

That's impossible. 41 Home and 41 Road, always.

No I know that. But if you look at the schedule, see how many road games there seems to be. I am too lazy to count.

I thought it may be a special case due to MSG's construction.

Seems like that because the beginning of the year is 8 straight road games. But obviously they even out..

For once we don't have an ABSURDLY hard end to the season. Pittsburgh twice and Philly once is the worst of it.

Buffalo, Toronto twice, Winnipeg, Columbus? Yes please.

Especially since Nash will score his first Rangers hat trick.

Well it's not like it's the schedule maker's fault.

Looking at the schedule (more specifically the 8 game road trip), it's not really that difficult of a road trip, IMO.

The four easy wins there, IMO, are Buffalo, Tampa, Carolina, and Ottawa. The rest we can also beat.

Can Lundqvist bring his Vezina trophy onto the bench during the ceremony in LA?

It's like the NHL did it, because they didn't get that match up during the Finals.

2 different stretches of a week. Dec 22-29 and Jan 22-29 (All Star Break)

It's also weird starting the season off with the Kings two years in a row, obviously in Europe last year and with the renovations this year.

Ummmm, 15 games in 30 days during March, 9 of which are on the road?? Doesn't matter which teams you are playing when your schedule looks like that. April doesn't get any better with 7 games in 13 days, 4 on the road.

That is a total leading up to the playoffs of 22 games over a period of 43 days, more than half of which are on the road. They better be way ahead again come the end of February.

This schedule is awful. What pisses me off is that once again we visit Washington EARLY and on weekdays. So November and December.

I notice Pittsburgh also visits Washington early and on weekdays, again...which makes me wonder if good old dishonest Bettman is being bribed from Ted not to have New York or Pittsburgh in late season weekends so he can artificially suppress their fans from attending.

Some of you guys really crack me up. Yeah, there is a conspiracy against rangers fans with the schedule making.

Oh, you miss the days when they missed the play-offs for 7 straight years? During that stretch, that is how the schedule was always set up in those days.

Glad we are in Montreal on Saturdays. Made the trip last year in November, and it was awesome. Will definitely do that again and maybe Toronto as well since it's on a Saturday. I think every hockey fan has to witness a game in Montreal, just amazing.

Any Rangers schedule that doesn't include home pre-season games is a good one in my book. That's an extra ~$1,500 in my pocket. Hard to complain about that.
