Well they emptied the net at 4-1 to make it 5, then Marty gave up another 'who cares' goal after that...I can't believe most of you were killing PDB for pulling the goalie down three. Who cares about margin of score?

I stopped paying complete attention to the TV after they scored the empty net. Then I heard Doc yell he scores, and the horn go off again. I'm like What the **** seriously?

Ya, looking better or worse in the box score is the last thing I care about.
Having Carter's goal stand up as the Cup winner irks me though.

Yeah it won't be a long mourning period. Hard to believe preseason's only three months away - maybe. As much as I don't want to see a lockout as a fan it might be the best thing for the team if the season doesn't start till January with the beating they took in this postseason

This is why you can't be down 3-0. Games like this happen where a bogus call happen or something ridiculous and you leave yourself no margin of error.
Split the first 2 at home and we are singing a different tune on the board.
This is what I said in the GTD.
3-0 is a gigantic hole in the finals and there's a reason it has only happened once in history. You NEED bounces and you need them consistently throughout the next 4 games. Not only that, you need breaks to go your way officiating-wise. Like it or not, **** gets called you don't like and goals will result. All it takes is one bounce or questionable play and you're at the end of the barrel.
