Total Organization Trade

If you had the option, what organizations would you switch for the Predators. It would be everything, from players to prospects to mamangement to coaches, to jerseys, the new team would just play in Nashville. We don't get the club's history (i.e. if we trade with the Kings, we don't get their last cup). Who has a whole package better than us?

Personally, I think Boston, LA, Philly, and NYR are no-brainers. Detroit is probably a yes, but I do think they're on the fall. Pittsburgh and Vancouver and definetly better off than us, I just can't stand either of them, so its tough for me. Chicago is probably a yes, though Kane and their goalie issues make it tough. St. Louis is, IMO, very even with us. To summarize:

Yes: BOS, LA, PHI, NYR, PITT, VAN, CHI, STL
NO: All others

I would trade with Tampa Bay.

they need a few def. responsible vets and a goalie that isn't 3 years away (TB is loaded in net with prospects, just all a few years out)

I like what we have here with a few minor adjustments.
1. Lighten Trotz up to new ideas, strategies, and player development.
2. Really be a cap team with desire to win a cup at no expense to high.
3. Management realize that what they do in the past effects the present and future.

Chicago

Great scoring, defense, goaltending is eh, prospect pool is one of the best in the league.

Oilers have Taylor hall, Jordan eberle, Magnus paajarvi, Ryan nugent-hopkins, Oscar klefbom, sam gagner, Tyler pitlick, Martin marincin, devan dubnyk, and Linus omark all as up and comers, not to mention another top two pick in this years draft, and a 32nd overall as well. Future looks pretty good there I would think.

Would miss weber rinne and legwand to much though, trades would have to be made...

I like this. Malkin, Staal and Crosby to put the puck in the net and Pekka to keep it out

Second.

Stamkos, St. Louis and Vinny are exciting enough... throw in Yzerman at the helm, he'll surely get the blueline and goaltending fixed. Plus the jersey's are cool, not as good as their originals, but nice.

I agree with the above.

Before this season I would have said Detroit. After being up for 20 years, I think they will finally decline for a period.

Maybe Boston or NJ. Possibly St. Louis.

LA, PHI, NYR, PIT, VAN, CHI are all out for one reason or another.

The point of this thread was to counter some of the "doom and gloom" type stuff on here by pointing out that we are in the top 3rd of organizations right now. I would say we're around #10, and for a small market, cap midpoint team, that's pretty good. We could be Columbus, Toronto, Montreal, etc. and not really have much going for us, but, even if we don't love them, we have a great coach, great GM, solid, competitive team, and a promising pool of prospects.

Things could be much worse.

I'm usually pretty positive. Hustlechuck, the other guy with the Doghouse avatar, is the negative one (Sorry Hustle, you know its true). We're brothers in real life, so I can make fun of him a little.

Poile has done a great job setting us up for the future IMO

I wish that was true

Anyways, I love our core, and I think that when you take into account coach and GM, we have one of the top 5-10 tandems in the league.

so which one is the more infrequent poster, but when does, usually posts well, and which one has all the posting talent in the world, but just underachieves and is a bad influence with other posters?
