You forgot a pretty big retirement Nick Lidstrom. Leaving a huge hole in NHL Detroit and HFNHL Sens

What's the deal with Marc Savard?
I can't remember how this whole thing works.
He hasn't played since February 8, 2011.
Do I get to keep him, or does he have to be moved to my prospect list because he's inactive?

After a full year of no pro hockey (anywhere), He gets moved to your prospect list, unless you wish to release him entirely. He will not be available for the coming season (barring a return to the NHL as per the recent discussion about Tim Thomas).
