Fel, I'm afraid your edit was lost for some reason. Also, can someone fix the typo in the poll?

Still want Rielly, barring no one big falling to us.

Anyone care to explain their reasoning for why we should pick Teravainen?

At 5"11 at least he's not a "small" forward, he's not who i would like to see the Wild pick initially though.

Honestly my top 5 from who i think could be available when we pick would go Dumba, Trouba, Grigorenko, Reinhart, Faska

How far away is Teravainen from the NHL? Two years in Europe? One in Europe, one in the AHL?

Considering he's probably the youngest kid in this year's draft, I'd say 2-3 years away.

I would not be surprised to see GMCF call Teuvo's name at the podium, but I have a feeling he's not going to fall farther than the Ducks.

I am just not sold on Trouba at this point and I don't know if the other top defensemen prospects will still be on the board, or if they would be really worth picking. Meanwhile, the more I read about Teuvo, the more I like him. Seems like he might be capable of filling a need for us down the road when he develops. I'm still holding out hope that either Grigs or Gal end up falling to us, but that's probably fantasy at this point.

And I'm still bitter about the season ending "winning" streak.

He reminds me a little of Victor Hedman.
Apparently, he's shown games where he's not afraid to play the body, and he certainly has the frame for it. It's just that he's inconsistent with it. It's a "good Falk/bad Falk" type situation with his physical play. He's shown enough to give that taste that he'll be able to do it eventually, but it's rare enough that he's certainly a long ways from being that type of guy.

Crap. I didn't even realize Dumba was an option. It is so close between him and Rielly for me.

I'd be fairly surprised if the Ducks, or anyone before them, selected Teuvo. My expected draft order:

1 - Yakupov
2 - Murray
3 - Galchenyuk/Grigorenko
4 - Dumba/Grigorenko
5 - Galchenyuk/Forsberg

I have no doubt the Ducks would go with Forsberg before Teravainen, and if Forsberg is off the board it's likely that either Grigorenko or Dumba is available, and I would imagine the Ducks would go with either of those two over Teravainen. Someone can always surprise, but I would be (pleasantly) surprised if Teuvo was off the board before we pick.

Just for laughs, here's my attempt to make Galchenyuk fall to us:

1 - Yakupov
2 - Forsberg
3 - Murray
4 - Dumba
5 - Grigorenko
6 - Trouba
7 - Galchenyuk

I could see this... But I'd swap #4 and #6.

This would be amazing.

I think it'll go something like

1. Yakupov
2. Forsberg
3. Grigorenko/Galchenyuk
4. Murray
5. Galchenyuk/Grigorenko
6. Dumba
7. Rielly/Trouba/Teravainen

Just for the sake of argument, here's what I'd like to see if we were to somehow trade our 7th overall to Washington for 11th and 16th:

Potential Picks at 11 (in order of desirability) -
Rielly (though I highly doubt he falls from the top 10)
Faksa
Teravainen
Reinhart
Ceci

Potential Picks at 16 -
[Any listed above that are available]
Lindholm
Maatta
Finn
Collberg
Koekkoek

1. Rielly
2. Trouba

I would be happy with either but would prefer the offensive upside in Rielly, thats my view
