Likely Buffalo since he's already on their roster...

A few teams kicking the tires on Emery, no interest in Mayers yet. Pretty much what I expected.

Keep those offers coming!

Two big trades to announce:

The Buffalo Sabres have acquired Paul Stastny, Peter Mueller and T.J. Oshie.

To BUF: Paul Stastny, Peter Mueller
To COL: Nathan Gerbe, BUF's 1st, NSH's 1st

To BUF: T.J. Oshie
To STL: Derek Roy, Andrej Sekera

The Buffalo Sabres would like to thank Derek Roy, Andrej Sekera and Nathan Gerbe for their time with the Sabres. We look forward to seeing Stastny play with the likes of Vanek and Pominville, Oshie playing major minutes for our club, and Mueller providing offense off the wings. We're confident in the ability to roll three scoring lines and a hard-nosed fourth.

Vanek-Stastny-Mueller
Oshie-Hodgson-Pominville
Foligno-Ennis-Stafford
Ellis-McCormick-Kaleta

In other news, Ville Leino has been placed on waivers. His eight goals and $4.5 million contract can get the **** out of Buffalo.

Oshie To Sabres for Roy and Sekera

The St. Louis Blues have traded forward TJ Oshie to the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for center Derek Roy and defensemen Andrej Sekera.

Oshie has served St. Louis well, but getting the chance to acquire a top center and a top four defenseman who we feel fits our system perfectly.

Sekera could very well line up with Pietrangelo next season for St. Louis. We wish TJ the best of luck in Buffalo and gladly welcome Derek and Andrej to St. Louis.

The San Jose Sharks have traded forward Martin Havlat, defenseman Jason Demers, and San Jose's 1st round pick in 2012 to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for forwards Milan Michalek and Stephane Da Costa, as well as Nashville's 3rd round pick in 2012.

We're thrilled that we were able to bring back Milan to the Sharks. After the failed Heatley experiment, we certainly missed Milan's speed and tenacity in this line up. His game has developed strongly with the Senators the last few years and we're happy to gain and even stronger Milan than the one that left us.

In Stephane we receive a big body who had a good scoring season in Binghamton. We could seriously use a prospect like him who can develop for a little longer in Worcester and be a big part of our future.

We liked Martin in his time with the Sharks, but we didn't want to to pass up on the opportunity to get Milan back to us. We felt that trading Martin to Ottawa, where he's been before and he's comfortable, was best for him. We would like to thank Martin and Jason for their times as San Jose Sharks, and wish them the best in Ottawa.

Sharks Line Up:

Lupul-Marleau-Michalek
MacArthur-Couture-Pavelski
Galiardi-Handzus-Wingels
Winnik-Moore-XXX

Stuart-Boyle
Vlasic-Burns
XXX-Braun

Niemi
Greiss

We're going to wait until the draft to make any more moves to the roster.

Czechin' back in

The Ottawa Senators are pleased to announce that the club has brought back former first round draft pick Martin Havlat, along with Jason Demers and San Jose's 2012 1st round draft pick. The return of Havlat came at a price though, with Milan Michalek heading back to San Jose along with Stephane Da Costa and Nashville's 2012 3rd round pick.

"Moving Milan was very difficult, but we feel that this deal gives us more flexibility in the future. Marty gives us the flexibility to create three potent scoring lines, and Jason gives us a young, offensive defenseman who we feel was getting sheltered minutes in San Jose. He will be given every opportunity to excel in a top four role here in Ottawa, and we really like his potential. The 1st round pick is a nice asset to have as well. We wish Milan and Stephane all the best in San Jose."

It amazes me how Bernier has become the new Nickelback (aka "I hate them cause it makes me sound cool to say i hate Nickelback").

Who lets 3 GOALS in on a 5min PP??? Peewee hockey teams don't do that. If anything we should be making jokes about the guys on NJ's Penalty kill unit.
