The Avs are shopping Jan Hejda, ideally looking for a 2nd round pick + prospect. Also willing to explore Hejda + for a better/more expensive defenceman if a team needs to shed some cap. Also, looking to package a bunch of minor pieces in exchange for a mid round draft pick:

Centers: Mike Connolly, Nate Condon, Brad Malone
Right Wing: Garrett Meurs, Luke Walker, Luke Moffat
Left Wing: Denis Parshin, Paul Carey, Zach Cohen
Defence: Joel Chouinard, Gabriel Beaupre, Jake Newton, Jens Hellgren
Draft Picks: COL 7th '12, COL 5th '13, COL 6th '13, COL 7th '13

"We're absolutely thrilled to add a player like D. Donnelly. We feel he's got Mike Rathje upside, but only if he can avoid the injuries. The Flyers were D. Donnelly's favorite team growing up, so it feels good to trade for a hometown boy."

have a possible deal sending David Perron to an eastern conference club while acquiring a top pairing defenseman. In return, Ian Cole is available for a forward prospect ready for top 9 duty.

The Ottawa Senators have acquired the brother of current Senators prospect Mark Stone, Michael, from the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for Jakub Culek.

"We're continuing to address our organizational need for NHL ready defensemen prospects. We like what Michael brings and we hope that he can help contribute to our club soon."

Canes are happy to acquire Schlemko ,, We feel he is solid #6/7 who if needed can play a bigger role in #5 spot

Homegrown Talent; Isles acquire Komisarek from Leafs

The New York Islanders addressed other key issues with their lineup today, adding muscle on the blueline in Mike Komisarek from the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Isles sent a 5th round pick in 2012 to Toronto in exchange.

"Mike Komisarek has gotten a raw deal, and is a much better defenceman than given credit for" Isles GM TribalPhoenix stated in a press release today.

"We look at Mike, and see that he was used in the wrong system in Toronto. We think he will flourish as a leader in our room, and on the ice. We're very happy to add him to our club, where he can show what he's really capable of."

confirm. We have a huge logjam on defense and wanted to give David a chance to play. We're happy to give him that opportunity.

confirm. Michael is another young and talented blueliner who was a victim of our D depth. Culek is a solid two-way Center prospect. We like his size and style of play, and believe he has terrific offensive upside.

Fielding offers for Jared Cowen. Serious inquiries only. Would require a top forward prospect/pick coming back in return.

Yandle headed to STL

have traded D Keith Yandle and prospect Viktor Tikhonov to the Heading back to Phoenix are David Perron, Ian Cole, Philip McRae, and STL 2012 2nd and 3rd round picks.

For us to get to that next level we knew we needed to add some immediate offensive help and did so with Perron. He'll slot into our top-6. Cole is a nice addition to our blueline as we project him to develop into a solid shutdown defenseman, while McRae fills a big need at forward in the AHL. We expect him to be up with the big team by 2013. And with the picks we added we'll be able to continue to better round out our prospects pool.

Yandle's spot figures to be filled by David Rundblad or Brandon Gormley.

St. Louis Confirms. We will now focus on acquiring a top talent in the draft and free agency. We will miss Perron but we are thrilled to acquiring Keith Yandle to pair with Pietrangelo next season.

Confirmed.

With Phaneuf-Gunner-Gardiner-Schenn, as well as guys liek fRanson and Holzer knocking on the door, we already had a solid Top 4. Komi's salary is needed o fill other needs, and we wish him well on the Island (or, eventually, in Quebec )

UPDATE

We are shopping the 7th overall for a young top 6 forward. Other assets can be added depending of the player.

Aaron Palushaj remains available for the best prospect or pick offered.

PM!
