UPDATE

Zach Parise: Getting the most offers, some good, some not so serious. One gigantic offer. Zach is highly considering it. Will make a decision in a couple days.

Ryan Suter: Has a lot of offers, though all seem to be about the same, not one really is standing out.

Jay Garrison: Three strong offers currently. May take a little less for certain teams. Will sign tonight.

PA Parenteau: Two very strong offers from Canadian teams. Wants to sign by tonight.

Lee Stempniak: 1 very good offer on the table.

Alexander Semin: 2 strong offers from Western Conference teams.

Dennis Wideman: 1 strong offer that he is contemplating and will sign tonight.

Taylor Chorney: SIGNED

Brett Clark: 1 offer that he may sign soon

Mike Knuble: See Brett Clark

Justin Schultz: 2 offers, kind of surprised by the low amount of interest for probably the cheapest and 3rd best FA

Can we consider the unsigned and not qualified EC players on the first page as unrestricted free agents or you still need to update the post?

You can go after em. For RFA's turned UFA's just tell me that they used to be RFAs that were unqualified ie Matt Niskanen is a player who is now a UFA.

For those of you looking for a cheaper option at LW then Parise. David Booth is available.

Parenteau and Stempniak have made their decisions.

Also remember players like Dadanov, Matt Niskanen, MA Bourdon, Nick Palmieri, Esposito, Corrente, Zharkov, Wolski, Bickel, ect are UFA's

Those Looking to Sign Justin Schultz:

Please give a sales pitch as to why Schultz should sign with your team and not others. Everyone is offering the same contract so this will make it easier for the decision process. There is already a number of teams (8 or 9) interested in his services. He wants to make a decision by tomorrow.

Sens Offseason in Review

The overhaul continued in Ottawa this offseason, with an influx of new talent joining the club, and some that will look to contribute to the team in the near future. We decided not to overpay in a thin free agent pool and handcuff our club with bad contract(s), thus leaving us in an excellent position to add as we feel the need to next season with over $7M in cap space.

IN: Dustin Penner, Niklas Hjalmarsson, Cameron Gaunce, Martin Havlat, Jason Demers, Joachim Nermark, Michael Stone
OUT: Zack Smith, Patrick Wiercioch, Matt Puempel, Milan Michalek, Stephane Da Costa, Erik Condra, Bobby Butler, Jakub Culek

Lee Stempniak - Jason Spezza - Martin Havlat
Dustin Penner - Kyle Turris - Jakob Silfverberg
Nick Foligno - Mika Zibanejad - Daniel Alfredsson

The Rangers are ecstatic to announce a couple of signings!

The Rangers have come to terms with UFA LWer, and former Captain Canada, Ryan Smyth!

We are very happy to add Ryan to our locker room and our team and believe he can provide great depth scoring as our #2/3 LW while getting PP time as well. We love his leadership and his constant work ethic which we feel will fit in well in our locker room.

1 year @ 3 million

The Rangers have also come to terms with gritty 4th line center Adam Burish. We feel Adam, who can play wing or center, will add versatility and more grit to our bottom line playing alongside Brian Boyle and Brandon Prust.

2 years @ 1 million/season

Line-up so far:

Hagelin-Richards-Gaborik
Smyth-Stepan-Kreider
______-Anisimov-Callahan
Boyle-Burish-Prust
Rupp

McDonagh-Girardi
Staal-Del Zotto
Methot-Erixon
Stralman

Hank
Biron

SIGN DEL ZOTTO TO OFFERSHEET

The Montreal Canadiens have signed defenseman Michael Del Zotto to a 12.5M$ for 4 years (3.125M$ cap hit) offersheet.

The New York Rangers have 24 hours to decide if they will match or not. If they don't match, they will receive Montreal 2013 2nd round pick as a compensation.
