That headshot on Ianuzzi was disgusting, Webb deserves the rest of the regular season off for that cheap shot. I'm with CM can't believe the colour guy was trying to justify that sack of crap.

Andrew Harris, your new all-time yards from scrimmage leader in the CFL.

1,664 yards.

And the same colour mutt said he would have let that holding call go on the Hamilton TD that was called back. It was incredibly blatant. He dragged the Lion down backwards.

Sand in my asscrack at the beach is less annoying than this guy.

Looked worse at game speed, for me at least. I'd still say it was worthy of a penalty though.

Typical Glen Suitor. His commentary works this way:

1. Did a Rider do it? It must be OK, then.
2. Did a defensive back do it? Then's it's OK, too.
3. Did a Lion do it? "I'm e-mailing the league right now! That should be a lifetime suspension!"

Congrats to Andrew Harris on his new record! Congrats to Travis Lulay on extending his TD streak! And congrats to the Leos themselves for getting another W in an impressive one at that.

11-4!

What a great game by Lulay, even though he apparently was playing with a heavy heart due to losing his grandmother only yesterday.

I hadn't heard that.

He was on fire today. I'm beginning to fear we could lose him to the NFL in a couple years. A little work on his long ball accuracy and he could be done here.

I love this team.

Week in, week out. They have such a great attitude. The TSN post-game dressing room feeds really allow us to get a vibe for the team's cohesiveness and this team looks absolutely set to defend the Cup.

Yeah, Coach Bene said that in the post-game lockerroom speech.

He's 29, though, so I think we're close to seeing the top of his development curve, and it's not going to make it to NFL starter levels. And hopefully he's the kind of guy that would rather start and be a big star in Vancouver than go back to being a clipboard-holding nobody in Seattle, even if the money's better. Calvillo never left Montreal, maybe we can keep our QB, too.

Unbelievable - he's essentially defending the head shot to Ianuzzi. That was a blatant shot to the back of the head. I'm mind boggled at this fool.

Is he on Twitter? Someone give me his Twitter handle.
The TSN guys doing the highlights didn't defend it. They said there should be a suspension for it. Suiter is all alone.

It's funny because Glen Suitor is so anti-Lions while Duane Forde is so pro-Lions. Why can't we have a colour commentator who doesn't have any bias?

To have a commentator with no bias is the same thing as having no commentator at all.

Just a heads up for those living under a rock. BC Lions playoff tickets went on sale to the general public today. With no hockey likely during this years game I imagine these tickets will go fast so get them sooner rather then later. One more win or a loss by CGY means it will be the Western Final! Should be a great time and hopefully a sell out.

BC Lions suspended Khalif Mitchell one game for a tweet using the word "Chinks" ... Amusing to read his timeline right now.

I am just now hearing Wally buono answering questions from the media on this subject. I am absolutely floored by what he said. I have lost gigantic amounts of respect for Wally after hearing this. Unacceptable and quite frankly makes me feel sick.

I saw an interview and thought he handled it perfectly... what interview are you talking about?

It's like 15 minutes of him rambling. Defending kalif. " I don't like social media" " nothing is private anymore "
Says everyone makes derogatory comments towards ethnic groups at some point in their life.

When reporters say that if that say that racial insult in their line of work they would be fired.

Says " ignorance is a reality" said the comment is a " small issue"

You have to listen to this interview to get the context. He comes Across as stuck in the past and very blind to the actual comment

I heard the interview and I think Buono handled it well. I also think that Khalif is on his final chance here and one more screw up and he will be gone. I don't get the impression he meant anything malicious with the comment, based on what I've read from his twitter.

If that's true about what Wally said... I'd say its pretty much hitting the nail on the head. Racism exists and always will.

Yeah. There was that incident with Khreem Smith on the sidelines, too, where a coach wound up holding Smith back while he screamed at Mitchell. He's drifting close to Messam territory, where the talent doesn't offset the distractions.
