Colorado Avalanche: On the Rise

Keep in mind, this is my first full highlight video, while using new programs. I got a little lazy at the end, but I hope you guys enjoy. Can a mod please merge this thread with the other? Trying not to spam here.

GO AVS.

Haven't started it yet, hope it includes the song from Requiem for a Dream though.

Edit: Yes!

Highlights from "10-11"... you mean "11-12"

Great video. I'm assuming you'd be interested in a bit of critique, going inbetween the different video sizes is an eye sore. You might also want to brighten up some of the darker distance videos if you can.

Something interesting for you to try might be to end the clip using the fights entirely and try to time each punch in accordance to the cymbals? in the background.

I realize that, I got a bit lazy with that haha. But yeah, that's a good idea, I was having some trouble finding fight videos for whatever reason. I thought that Stastny & Duchene's dance went perfectly with it though. Which I didn't even mean for it to happen.

Try surfing the hockey fights forum on here, you will find some videos that may not have shown up on youtube right away.

Love it. Great idea. Agree with previous fight clip and sizing comments, and...I'd have liked to see Forsberg's comment about if he and his fiancee ever have a son, he'll wear burgundy and blue. Especially after the recent birth of the new heir to the throne. Just a tack on to the Red Wings comment at the end. Great job!

I know what the problem is. The full screen clips are straight from Avalanche.TV. I just downloaded the entire highlights for a game, then straight hand-picked them out and cropped them into the video. But since I had to download those in FLV, I had to convert them so I could use them in Adobe. It's pretty complicated because if I took a normal converter, the quality would be ass. So I had to strip off the FLV completely and repack the audio and video of the highlights into an MP4. The smaller ones were from Youtube which is 1203810238i times easier, since I could download straight from MP4 and put them directly in. The Forsberg vs Canes was from his famous Youtube video, I doubt I could find it in a different size. Thanks for the critique and congrats though guys, I appreciate it. Share it with some friends or something, tweet it to Landeskog, maybe he'd enjoy it.

Well done!

The main problem was the different size of each clip but you already acknowledged that so like I said well done.

Good job!

My only bit of constructive criticism would be to ease up on the reverse clip effect.

The only thing rising around Colorado at the moment is Josh Kroenke's pants at the prospect of absolute cap floor rates yet again.

We still have to pay for the Forsberg/Sakic and Roy signing ten years ago. But it's starting to get time for a big fish signing soon. 8 million a year for Doan?

That would be an absolute disaster, but thankfully Sherman is competent and is sticking to the right plan.

I haven't heard anything that would hint the Avs are still interested in Doan.

I'm sure they are interested. Not so sure Doan would be.

Yeah, he might find other use for the paper in his wallet.

Great video! This might be an odd request...maybe you can create a downloadable folder so maybe a few of us can upload videos too? Might be fun to have some fan made videos!
