I know two of the mods in real life and they're good people. Just not exactly fit for moderating to say the least

Oh my.
I gave up after the McGinn/Downie trades. Some comments... wow. No rationality whatsoever. Downie is bound to run down his new teammates, McGinn is a plugger, etc.

I did the same thing and just went back about 30 minutes ago and yeah... constant personal attacks and what have you. Eesh.

Got your vows ready yet

In all seriousness, it's nice to see more and more states legalizing gay marriage. It doesn't affect me in any way and it makes them happy, why the hell should I be against it?

Figure this would be the spot to ask this. My friend was telling me about the conspiracy theories of Denver international airport last night. Pretty fascinating stuff, figured I'd ask my Avs brotherhood of their thoughts on the subject and what to make of it all.

Do many of you have a situation where one of your "small cousins"(2nd cousin in English I guess), i.e. one of your parents' cousins' child" is 24 years older, and another is 5 years younger?
That's interesting, I think.

Meh, might as well as ask here.

Thinking about asking out a friend (known her for awhile, heres the dilemma. One of my best friends is her sister, and my friends back here are a pretty close group so it might get awkward regardless if she says yes or no.

Opinions?

I'd say go for it if it feels right based on personal experiance, I've asked my best friends sister out and we're still together, but one of my friends didn't have a good experiance, her best friends brother left her on a bad note after they were together for 5 or 6 months and now she lost both her boyfriend and her best friend.

If you think there could be something between the two of you longterm go for it.

PS

Be sure that your best friend isn't interested in you, that might be really akward.

Get up some nads and ask.

30 years from now you probably won't have the same friends, but could have the same woman.

I have a few cousins who are in their 50's. I also have a few cousins who are 2 and 3 years old while my niece is almost 1 year old in a month.

A young boy enters a barber shop and the barber whispers to his customer, 'This is the dumbest kid in the world. Watch while I prove it to you.' The barber puts a dollar bill in one hand and two quarters in the other, then calls the boy over and asks, 'Which do you want, son?'

The boy takes the quarters and leaves the dollar. 'What did I tell you?' said the barber. 'That kid never learns!'

Later, when the customer leaves, he sees the same young boy coming out of the ice cream store & says ; 'Hey, son! May I ask you a question? Why did you take the quarters instead of the dollar bill?'

The boy licked his cone and replied, 'Because the day I take the dollar, the game's over!'

haha well she's seeing another dude, so definitely going to say no.

I don't know if I see something too longterm, I mean we're both only back in the summer for a few months and then back to university after. I'll find out soon though

My coworker dropped the key to our truck in a river in the middle of nowhere. We were stranded for 5 hours. Only on Friday....

How do you drop a key in a river, especially if you're doing logging? or some type of forestry work (I assume).
